Yep, born and bred Texan. I wasn't raised in what I consider the traditional Texan home though.
The real question is do you have a cowboy hat?  ..I had one. If I had money, I'd totally get another.  I found myself eyeing some a few months ago. Texas is probably the only place you could wear a cowboy hat anywhere and not even get looks for it. I wonder if you thought I was from Boston because I am uh.. abrasive and "loud". |

Reading the last few pages of this thread has made me realise how very glad I am that I have a son. I thought the same thing too reading these posts, I am glad I have my two boys and it's so easy to dress them, just shorts and a tshirt. Mind you when I was a kid I would pretty much wear the same thing  Me too. If I have a girl and all they sell for girls is slut wear or too old fashioned, then I will not hesitate to buy from the boys department for her. Kids are largely unisex anyway. I appreciate those that have converted some "boy" clothing in game for girls. Girls wear overalls too! |

My 2 cents on this subject and fist I must confess that I am DEEPLY annoyed with MTS2 policy at least in the later 6 months because I consider HYPOCRIT. Itīs not true that everybody is called when uses pay itens on screenshots. Itīs a false statement. They really eventually pointed a pair of cases but the truth is the mods at MTS2 are not aware about pay itens. I know by experience because I used pay itens in some screenshots and nobody said a thing. The only time they said anything it was an iten made by Aikea Guinea - which was already free at that time - and THEY DIDNīT KNOW, even with me linking to the new Aikeaīs site. I had to talk with the mods about to get my item approved.
Also that observation about TSR in the upload page always bothered me because sounded like a supportive observation. Annoys me a so called free site that support TSR.
MTS2 is cliqueish, they approve anything from people that belongs to their clique and reject from people who donīt belong to their clique, no matter the quality and no matter if are pay itens in the screenshots. If you post questions at the support area they will copy and paste their rules page and lock the thread. Been there, done that and got 4 threads locked and HP telling me to shuddup.
Since MTS2 is a free site - despite the fact that not-so-retired Delphy is always asking for donations, what put me in doubt if we really could consider completely free because a lot of people donate but the site is 50% of the time offline and have a slow slow traffic - I am not going to extend myself too much but I think these points should be considerated specially for those who donate to the site. I donated once myself but I will never made this mistake again, in fact I removed all my stuff from MTS2 because I donīt like what I see going on there.

There's so much bullshit in your post that I hardly know where to begin. 1) People need to not put payshit in their screenshots in the first place! This is not a new rule. The mods don't have time to hold your hand through everything and shouldn't have to. They're volunteers and don't get paid to put up with all that they do. They also shouldn't be expected to know what all the payshit looks like. 2) I don't know what observation about tsr on MtS2 you're talking about. 3) MtS2 is cliqueish and always has been. You might as well get over it because it won't change. 4) If you were told to shut up, more than likely you deserved to be told to shut up. 5) You don't seem to understand how much of a resource sucker MtS2 is and since I am not the owner of the site, I cannot show you. All I can do is tell you that I have seen screenshots years ago of the bandwidth usage statistics and even then they were shocking. 6) And while Delphy is semi-retired from the community now, he's done more for the community than you ever will and he doesn't even play the damn game! You can suck it. I thought linking to the booty on S2C was just fine?

Actually, I remember the Elmazz/MTS2 thing - I believe, in fact, that it prompted a 'Only free content in your downloads, and only free content in your pics [ at least for sims ]' rules over at MTS2. I think someone near the top, or someones, woke up and realized that not only was TSR swiping a good number of the featured artists at MTS2, but were also using the site to advertise and so decided to put a stop to it.
I'm surprised that many people read it.. it was only on one download they made. I don't think it prompted the rule change but I think it contributed to it in a small way. Pay items in screenshots were already a growing problem because people kept asking where to get it and by telling them, paysites were getting more business and the mods had to deal with the pmbd links being posted. Oh, and I want to note that the Elmazzz sisters weren't the only FAs loading their screenshots with pay items on MtS2. There were at least two objects creators doing the same. |

That goes against everything I ever thought about you missangelica - I always imagined you having been from Boston - don't ask me why. Yep, born and bred Texan. I wasn't raised in what I consider the traditional Texan home though. My father was raised in Michigan (and his father was Pennsylvanian) and my mother, although she was born in Texas, lived in California for the first 12 years of her life. She claims it didn't affect her but I think she's the most progressive thinker in her family. She really instilled the love of reading books and learning in me. I live in surburbia and watch too much tv so my accent is pretty light. You can especially hear it though when I whine or say certain words. |

Not sure if you remember missangelica but about 1 year ago you commented against elmazz on MTS2, I asked you (i'm lamammaforever) why you were rude and you answered that elmazz were posting on MTS just for showcasing their pay stuff at TSR, showned in the pictures. I felt a bit sad for them but that's why I started to ask to myself what's was going on. You know, I were naive and convinced that everybody were nice and friendly, I didn't like paysites but didn't know some related facts. So it's you, because after that elmazz thread I became curious, or better to say more interested. Yes, I remember that. It really bothered me how they were so blatantly trying to get people to come over to tsr by overloading their (Elmazzz is actually two sisters) screenshots with their pay goods and offering only the half-assed done lipstick or eyes for free. I just tried to find the thread but it seems they've deleted all their threads since the last time I looked. I should of gotten a screenshot. :/ I'm surprised and happy that you took it to heart. It goes to show you never know who your words touch! Thank you for telling me. |

That Darqstar is awesome and I have no idea who she is. I know there are some members here that like to lurk the tsr forums cesspit, but even when I was an active member of tsr, I ignored it completely. The one time I skimmed the forums, I felt the "smile at you while stabbing in the back" vibe from them. *shivers*
Oh that isn't the only time she did that. She did it once in February too that she told me about. And she is a NURSE. Darq rocks. She was a long time SA there. She is still over there but no longer SA. My mother was a nurse. She hated the Atwats of that world.. who are unfortunately all too prevalent. You've probably dealt with at least one. They're the ones that give you a dirty look when you grimace from the blood pressure arm vice, don't look at you while talking, don't answer your questions, only check on you at the beginning and end of their shift, spend the majority of their shift on their asses gabbing with their friends at the central nursing desk, and bitch about their patients with absolutely no thought to who may be listening and all the private information they're spewing. |

I didn't notice that Ashbashtus! It's completely consumed by that wall. I think the headboard is just a wallpaper.. It's hard to tell from the photoshopped preview picture but it looks completely flat on the edges to me. I don't have it in my game though, so maybe Jilly will see this and confirm it either way. It's not, it clips into the wall That's a "feature" of most Vitasims' objects, right? |

Because he hasn't defended her or denied it, and because I can't think of any other explanation for the hold she has over him.
I think she knows too much and could cause him some serious butthurt. Know the saying "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"? It comes to mind when I think of Atwat and Thomass' relationship. Wow Tomato, makes for interesting reading and to think I once aspired to be an S.A will go sit on the naughty chair  I do think Thomas is a total p***k and like many men was flattered and saw an opportunity for a bit of an ego massage (wether anything more happened or not is irrelevant) you know you have left me feeling a bit sorry for her as she thought the only person who could fix this was Thomas and he has so let her down pick? pack? punk? pink? Why are you censoring yourself? |
