I had about half of my first paintable apartment that U.N. blue. Bedroomlet and dressing area were the blue, then the living room was a coffee color (with a self-painted mural) and the itty-bitty nothing kitchen was bright, hi-gloss canary yellow. I picked up the wrong paint can.

I can't find enough stuff for my historical 'hood (which is the only 'hood I've played for months now...) so I have to make it myself!

This is a hairstyle for children to elders (only blonde for now) which was a simple enough project for me (I've been working on a few female Regency hairstyles and failed miserably. No, you're NOT going to see them!  )

The hair textures are not the best. I might try again there... They're borrowed Maxis textures, because I find hair texturing very, very difficult

Impressive job, Cap'n!  I don't go in for period stuff in my game, but that looks great to me.  Esp. the cap, it's fit really nicely.  Texture looks fine too !

Berg, those textures look absolutely lovely, I love Maxis match textures.  I borrow from Maxis all the time, cos I'm hopeless at texturing too.

Best thing is you have ready made Maxis black, brown and red too.

Thank you for your kind words everyone! I have made recolours for all four standard hairtones now, and a version with a more plain cap. If I have time for playtesting tomorrow, I'll upload them to MTS2 for those who are interested 

tIIsuggas: I agree completely!  Some Maxis textures are a bit bland but when you know which ones to use, it's very handy...

I have a skintone in my game with the filename Aug_skin_w0. It's very doll-like as well, so maybe it's from the same creator. I know I got it from Sims 2 Heaven but I think it might be from a Sim since I used to always download Sims and harvest their skintones. >_>
