I can't find enough stuff for my historical 'hood (which is the only 'hood I've played for months now...) so I have to make it myself!

This is a hairstyle for children to elders (only blonde for now) which was a simple enough project for me (I've been working on a few female Regency hairstyles and failed miserably. No, you're NOT going to see them!  )

The hair textures are not the best. I might try again there... They're borrowed Maxis textures, because I find hair texturing very, very difficult 

Ah, that hair is beautiful Berg! I like the textures the way they are! I think they have more contrast than the maxis ones (which I like better IMO with the higher contrast) but still remain true to the game! And I adore the hat! The lace and bow are wonderfully done! <3


Okay, so I'm done these two. They did not take long (actually, I was done a while ago, but my drama filled house was robbed by one of it's occupants unrelated to me) so I was busy doing other things for a week. I'd love to tell the story, because it's ever so epic, but that would need to be later and in sharkbait if I decide to. XD

Okay, Phoenix Wright has crazy anime hair that would look totally ODD with anything besides him.. so I only made it for males. It's all ages though.. if anyone want Phoenix as a toddler or something.. XD


Miles Edgeworth has slightly less ridiculous hair, so I made a female refit.. (someone also asked me to)..

And YAY.. Less than 3944 poly for Edgeworth's hair.
And between 2554 for Phoenix's hair. Which is still higher than Maxis, but SUPER LOW for me!! lol

I feel so out of it with Phoenix Wright references, because I've only played a couple of cases in the first game.  I never manage to sit down and play DS games.  The only one I came close to fully beating was Elite Beat Agents.

A question about categorizing if you please.

I'm working on a new bathroom set. It's got all the usuals - sink, toilet, tub, shower - and a counter. And then it has these two deco items: a shelf and a towel cabinet.



Now, where in the in-game catalogue would you want these items?

Personally I put all that kind of objects in Decorative - Misc and then use pricing to sort into kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, pillows etc, but that obviously won't work for most other people. So far they're in Surfaces - Counters together with the counter, but that doesn't seem quite right either. 

Thanks in advance for any suggestions?

I would probably look for the towel cabinet in Surfaces - End Tables, just because it's about that size/shape, and that's how my brain works. I'm pretty used to finding shelves under Decorative, so that makes sense to me as well.

I'd put the cabinet under end tables, but only if it actually functions as one. If you can't put things on it, the it should be in decorative. (It drives me nuts when I download things that can't be used as the item they're classified as. Counters that don't functions as counters, electronics that are strictly decoration, etc.) The shelves should definitely be in decorative. I'd personally put them in decorative/misc, but having them with the paintings would be okay too since they go on the wall and I've got a lot of non-painting stuff in that category.
