I have no idea what a "redemption code" is in this case.
PMBD is for freeing illegal Sims 2 paysite files. Not for actually pirating from EA or any othe game company. Moar clear nao?

 I am guess they mean the code for the "Exclusive Download" you get when you buy at certain places. It is totally against the rules here, so why they would even ask is beyond me. 

... Except that they've been handed out before, if it's the codes I'm thinking of. The noob needs to use the search function, methinks.

Holy Crap, I did not even know that. I've never noticed any donation stuff advertised on their site (nor seen them in the booty). And now I feel cheated.

But it's always like that. Free creators are better than those pay shlabs.
I think it's because free creators get 'payed' with good comments and candy and sugar and thank you buttons and lovely affection from others.
So they do their best. And they make the best.

But they haven't released a donation set since early 2006, right?  If their pay items are released, and they haven't released a new one in more than two years, doesn't that make them liberated? 

Or do I have this all wrong?  I'm confused.

They've still got a donation area that includes downloads which can only be accessed if you pay them money. (Unless the free versions are hiding somewhere super-secret.) Yeah, it's 'only' a few downloads, and yeah, they're all at least a couple of years old, but until they're available for free, XMSims is still a paysite.

Yes, I remember XMSims said it was going to release all of its donation sets for free. They do it awfully slow however, and until they are all removed, they're a paysite.

 Oh, I just figured the system of pay to have them now or wait a long time later didn't (technically) make them a paysite. I also didn't see them in the booty. My bad.
