I've always thought we should have some side by side comparisons of similar free and pay content. When I first found this site, I downloaded tons of stuff from the booty. Almost all of it is now gone, because the truth is most pay content is inferior to free content.

Here's my first example Crappy Rose Pay hair:

The pay braid looks deformed. The head looks inflated and the braid is bent with a really unnatural angle.

It's not hard to see which one is a thousand times better.

And I'm sure the pay braid has crappy animations, or cuts into stuff because the bone assignments suck.

Adele is love! I have been meaning to put her stuff in my game, I actually put her living room set in my game, but for now, I will most likely until there's a whole matching set of her things! Adele's bedroom also looks tempting to download. I love the whole worn/rustic look she gives.

Ive been coveting Nouk's braid for forever but cant find anyplace to DL it now that GOS is down.


..Also been procrastinating on Adele's her stuff is stunning but in the past my experience is the prettier the textures the slower my game runs.   What is considered high poly wise?

The Vita set doesn't crash my game at all, but Addison kicks ass. However, I find the textures look terribly photoshopped. You can see it in the preview pic, but I believe it was even worse in-game with my graphic card. My card picks up everything.

I don't have that Adele set. I need it!

I also dumped that pay braid when Nouk came out with hers. Whose hair poofs like that?

I think for objects 1000 faces per tile is considered standard. Adele's living room sets are very low. At MTS2 all the polys for each object are listed. Most ornate meshes are high poly, but Adele textures so well, it looks like there's 3D details, but they're actually not. Her bedroom set is a tad higher than some of her others, but it's much better than Vita or Brigit.

I also find that a lot of Vita's objects aren't centered right, they cut through walls, etc. I think it's pathetic when you have to use a cheat to place a desk.

Lets see, I have some.

This ponytail by peggy isn't the worst of her stuff, but it still has a crappy hairline and fugly textures.


Nouk's, on the other hand, is just lovely.

These styles by XM aren't exactly the same as Peggy's, but are just better.

Also I think Peggy and Rose try to go for super realistic (but it turns out kinda plasticky for Rose) while I always go for semi realistic with everything. So they're not gonna look the same. I think you need moar Helga who also goes for super realistic

Really? Peggy, realistic? With her pink-reds and huge neck/ear/forehead gaps? That's what I was thinking about the Asian hairstyle: it's pretty, but you know there's an ear gap and most likely a forehead gap at teen.

Maybe it's because I'm crazy but I stared at that peggy hair, the top of it is a different color than the bottom, not to mention it looks like the duller brown could have been apart of that helga hair! Just the way some of the strands fall around the face, just looks like she thickened the mesh and added her own color to the bottom

And as for Peggy and Rose going for realistic? I think peggy's stuff is most fantasy/meant for pictures type deal. Not really suitable for gameplay, whereas Rose's goes for realistic on some hairs but from what I've seen a majority of her stuff is based on fantasy/games/anime's
