Hehe, I thought I was a sim freak, but I have no idea who these people are! Yet.... There's chance for me  ! Horray, I say! There's something I don't understand; "artists"(I put that under quotes cause if they ARE considered artists, Da Vinci might as well turn in his grave and sob, and die. AGAIN) at tsr really are going away. But, TSR looks like some important-well-organized-oh-wow-yes-formal-pretty webiste, don't they have like an agreement? I always thought they had a 'deal' with the so called artist to to stay and work for them for at least a year, or something.... Turns out they're free as birds or I missed something? BAD sharon, BAD sharon!! |

Ehh, apparently, you can quit TSR any time you want to, since they actually don't have any legally binding contracts. However, if an artist leaves TSR, Thomass & co will keep their files as payfiles unless the artist raises hell (Re: Aikea & Gelydh's files, for example). So, they are free to go whenever they feel like it, but getting TSR to release the files isn't as easy as leaving. <edit: brain fart> |

TSR try to keep things private so they can control and manipulate, they therefore fear public knowledge so once people knew that Aikea and Gelydh wanted their stuff to be free, and said as much, TSR had to comply. |
