Oh, we are old pros at feeding CC addiction, we've got a lot of creators who hang out here. I've got about a gig and a half of some primo stuff in the new computer now and am finding lots more because of this thread. Now it takes five minutes for my game to load instead of thirty seconds...

I find it hard to believe when people say their game takes over an hour sometimes to load.
How the hell?
Either they have a hard drive full of CC, a very shite PC or they over exagerate (no offense, but my PC isn;t the best spec wise and my game takes about 5 minutes, even with heaps of CC)

I know people who have external harddrives specifically for their sims 2 CC. So it's very possible to have an hour of load time. Mine used to be 30 minutes until I got the compressorizer.

BlackOrchid had a bunch of other screenshots, but I only show two here. Also, there were two flavors of furnished apartments, one with CC, and one just Maxis stuff. I know which one of these two offerings I'd rather download. (Not the TSR one, that's for sure. Ugh. I could build one that good myself. And I'm a lousy builder.)

My game takes about 15 minutes to load, and I have a very good computer. I have way too much cc, but I'd rather wait 15 minutes than give most of it up.

My game finally just didn't load when I hit the 11GB CC mark... twas a sad day. Now it takes 5 minutes or so to load after my cleanout.

The compressorizor helps the game load faster? I thought it just made more room for files.

Yeah. From what I read in a thread once, since it makes the files smaller, it's less for the game to read. I think it was a thread at MATY but don't quote me on that.... ever since it though it's been loading rather fast. Before I used to make myself some food and drinks, and go talk to the roomies, watch some Shin-Chan, then play my sims. Now I can just do like two laps around the apartment and it's done.
