Oh, i'm not a lawyer. If i was, my circular logic would have been even more circular and noone would have had a chance to understand, what i wanted to say. As some people did, i can't be a laywer. Quod erat demonstrandum. my dad's a lawyer... I learned to get used to losing an argument XD

Ahhhh, you jerks who talk about food. I'm at school right now and have, unfortunately, forgotten all of my money. So I'm starving and here you all are talking about lobster thermidor. D: Why, cruel world? I'm working backstage behind the school musical. In college. Can't go get food until around 9pm tonight, and it's 6 and I'm STARVED, havn't eaten since maybe 1pm?

The Pirate Ship / ARR! / EA: All Your Mesh Are Belong To Us

I've got this steaming pile of shit I call fanfiction at ff.net, stuff I've been writing since I was a freshman in high school, and I've learned a lot since then-- but I feel embarrassed by the shit up there, but then, I don't want to take it down, so I've moved to a new penname for the little I write now that's worth posting. However. I'm suprised when get review alerts on stories that are 2-3 years old saying how good they are. I wrote a story back then by putting Inuyasha in the sims 1. Feel free to insult it, it's horrible, barely even a story, though I tried to fix it later on by sort of rebooting it. I got a review of it last week saying how wonderful it was, and did I know I could get a maid in that game? Most of the reviews were begging me for the Inu and Kagome skins I had-- nevermind the lack of pictures! Talk about a pig in a poke! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1071328/1/ <-- the dog turd I wrote back then, I'm so ashamed.

I got paid $15 an hour to manage this until my boss got snippy and decided that my attempts at following his vague instructions were inadequate and so he'd hire a professional www.lifehealthlaw.comstrange, but they're still using my shitty old design they requested I roll the site back to in the meantime... guess the pros charge too much XD I'd designed a much better site IMO but he hated it. Had a marble background, a flash intro with their name, nothing too flashy, rather tasteful but showing that they're cutting edge at the same time... *sighs*

Interesting isn't, the ones calling everyone here thieves are using the names of comic book bad guys/villains and an animal scavenger?
Paganwolf exactly Doc Oc was a joke, since I remembered that the Lizard (Kurt Conners) and Vulture (Adrian Toomes) were both Spiderman villains

"U ALL SUXX0RZ HWO DRE U STEAL" I am offended by your theft of certain objects. "THEEEEEEEIIIIVEEESSSS!!!!111ONEONE1EONE" I really disagree. "NOE ME'N GREEN GOBLIN WILL TEAM UP WIF DEH LIZZARDZ AND DEH VULTUREZZ (WHO R ALL UBERKEWL) AN' STEALSZ ALLZ YO SHIT BACK AN CRAZH YA SERVER!!!" Green Goblin and I will team up with Lizard and Vulture, whom are quite the fellows in my book, and steal back what is not yours. --- Clearly this is Lyric because of the way "thieves" is spelt. Or a nice fellow that agrees with us but has the same sense of humour as me. Wow, what kind of comic nerd are we attracting now? *quietly sneaks back to her spiderman fanfic novel, content*

kidding
seriously, though, since when did Barbie become such a....
The idea behind the doll is that you create your OWN stories with dolls, you play with them and they have whatever persona you want. But I guess they figure if you need to buy a new doll each time you need a new persona they'll make more $$$

Shhh... you'll let out a dirty little secret.
A TS2 mesh is not a TS2 mesh without the game, its code and the packages. It is just some 3D model. And then, paysite owners would have a legitimate beef - if they were only selling the models and photshop images.
But alas, they are not. If fact, that is only about 1% of what they are selling. The other 99% is Maxis code. A TS2 mesh is an almost USELESS 3D model without the game- I'm sure there are a gazillion reasons people want 3D models of crappy hairs

The Pirate Ship / ARR! / Rose Sims and Paypal

I'm in no way saying that Rose is f*ing up and violating the TOS - but I'm thinking because they are non-US members, has something to do with the way the sub page is set up.
I know that when I set up my account to accept payments, there was no option to make it require a shipping address or not. I don't think this is something that Rose did when setting up her Paypal account. You may be giving her way to much credit -
I think it is just something with Paypal that she is now choosing to exploit. See my post above. That's how you set the option to require a shipping address or not. I had to search a little, though, so maybe she doesn't know how, that one I'll believe.

I think where Pescado's flaw is that he fails to see that – and to EA / Maxis does too. 3D object creators make a lot of money in the real world. EA / Maxis is getting the benefit of having an army of creators adding value to their game (and potentially driving sales of the game, the EPs and Stuff Packs) for FREE. I think that's why the EULA grants creators the right to charge for "bandwidth." I think that was the lawyers' way of acknowledging that meshes are valuable commodities if they are carefully crafted. They couldn't come out and say that without some serious legal problems so they decided to grant the right to charge for 'bandwidth.' If you give your creations away freely then you have to expect that someone may extract that mesh and it may appear in another game or get used in some other venue that the creator didn't envision. the arrogance astounds.
