I've got most of a two six of Captain Morgan, and when that's gone about the same amount of Jameson and an unopened bottle of Baja Rosa. (That last one's not particularly piratey, but it sure is fun!)

Are you serious? All because of some April Fools fun? I've come to the conclusion recently that some people are just not happy if they're not complaining, like they're not making a valuable contribution to the world if they're not creating change or something, but this.... If it really bugs you (not you obviously), get off you ass, go play outside for a while, and come back tomorrow.

Chris, I like that hair too. Not for everyday, maybe, but for a disheveled just-rolled-out-of-bed look... The colour is really gorgeous.

I vote for the one on the left. What does everyone else think?

My vote's for the lighter ones.

But thanks - you're a sweetheart Cheesy

No, not really. More self-serving. I just really like the skins and want them in my game.

You just have to do a bit of colour balance work, calalily.  What programme are you using?  I'm sure it'll have a colour balance option.  Photoshop is good because you can choose which tone range to alter.  You can pick highlights, shadows or midrange tones.  It's really good.

Arcsoft Photo Studio.  There is colour balance with the same options - it just keeps throwing up that pink sheen.  The rosy glow was a complete accident - just a happy accident.  Cheesy I was originally only going to go with purple - but damn, that green looks so good.

Have you tried adding a touch of green to the purple? I was messing around in Photoshop and it seems to knock the pink down a bit - although if you add too much it'll end up look a bit zombie-fied. I'm crap at explaining what I'm trying to say, so here's a picture.

Obviously I have no idea what colour you're going for exactly, so I didn't bother trying to pretty them up after the colour adjustment.

Does anyone use clothes this simple?

I do! While my sims tend to dress way nicer than I do (because I'm a bit of a slob I guess), I do lean towards clothes that wouldn't look funny on a random person on the street. I've actually been on a bit of a search for nice casual clothes recently, and the second dress in that picture is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for. (I'd use the other ones as well, although I'd probably re-categorize them as formal.)

bla bla bla random reasons to why I went to TSR - here I adimitted that was for selfish reasons, bla bla, stuff that makes no sense...

giving you an easy way to get them in your booty. So how is this a selfish and evil move from our side?

WTH, you are saying that you went to TSR so it would be easier for us to plunder your stuff and offer it in the booty?       WHAT. THE. HELL.

No, really. Say it isn't so!

It's most absurd reason anyone has came up with. EVER!

No kidding. Especially since all the content on the original site is free and, according to Hecubus, always was free! If Shino hadn't gone to TSR, there would never have been any need for any of it to be in the booty. Either there's a misunderstanding about what PMBD actually does here, or else Shino is trying to defeat us through confusion.

I like that... 'twhat'. So much classier than just plain old 'twat'.

Man, I wish I'd been up earlier this morning, when Shino first started posting again. I think it's so cute that some of these people (Shino and Jan being prime examples) are trying to play mind games with us. Apparently no one told them how extraordinarily difficult it is for an individual to mess with the minds of a group. It takes an amazing amount of brain power, and I'll be truly impressed if/when someone actually succeeds in doing it here.

Anyway, my purpose for posting is just to ask if anyone knows who or what site to go to in order to prevent your personal info from being revealed in a whois search.

Since I've never used it, I can't vouch for the site and don't know if it will work for existing domains, but Silver suggested a site called GoDaddy.
(Here's the post.)

I knew about your group actually. I just found it extremely funny that she went out of her way to make sure her 'fans' know that she's not affiliated with a group which doesn't even exist (at least as she names it) and which the average joe would probably never even imagine was related to her site. (And all it takes is a reading of your group's description to realize that the two of you aren't working together.)

Also, her little spelling error continues to crack me up since, in my opinion anyway, the invention and use of a word like "refinded" is about as unrefined as one can get without crossing into the realm of vulgar. And she uses the word in reference to her own group, as well as yours, so I'm pretty sure she's not being ironic. Small things; small minds. I know. Doesn't stop me from chuckling every time I see the word.

Arrr........I stole the name refined........arrr.........since when the fuck did Jan have a copyright to the word "refined"?

Not "refined" - "refinded". I guess if you make up the name you own it...

(Funny, though. I can't seem to find a group called "Refinded Sims Rejects". Another creation of her disturbed mind?)

I get what your saying, but I do still think that at least some of the sentiment I was reacting to was definitely not sarcastic. I do have a tendency to go overboard a little bit when something pushes a button (fortunately I don't have many of them... at least, not ones that can be triggered accidentally), but I've had some food between my first and second post, and I'm definitely not as riled up about is as I was. I haven't changed my views on it, I'm just not fuming, you know? Anyway, I've said my bit and I'm not going to keep going on about it.

And I really don't make a habit of the combined-individual-response posts. Believe it or not, I do tend to ramble on some and in that case I decided it was actually more efficient to address the responses individually rather than try to summarize.

Thanks for not making me walk the plank.
