Try saving the images to your computer and then uploaded them to Imageshack or Tinypic or something.

GC, I don't make a habit of torturing the Sim-versions of my enemies either, not that I have enemies exactly, but there's a time and a place for everything. Years ago (back in the old TS1 days) I made a Sim of one of my best-friends' ex, stuck him in a room with a bunch of wicker furniture and set the room on fire while our Sim-selves watched from the hot tub outside. This was near the end of yet another crying-into-her-beer-at-my-house night, and she found the whole thing really cathartic. To this day she still refers to him as "Stupid Boy" instead of his actual name, but that's way better than some of the things she used to call him.

Guys, that Claire Danes thing is driving me crazy. S/h/it totally looks like someone (not Claire, not one of the Olsen twins) and I can't decide if it's Marla Sokoloff, or my ex-roommate's cousin, or someone completely different. I've had the image open in a separate window since last night hoping I'll figure it out, and now I'm in extreme danger of a Chaz overdose!


And good grief! More terrain paint clothing? Are they serious?

I also love Phaenoh at MTS2 - she's done a lot of default replacements to make a good lot of the Maxis clothes not suck. And I think fanseelamb's stuff is great, as is kalynn06's.

Also, is it just me or are all the Sims Store exclusive lamps kind of broken? I made a test house with all the new furniture, and none of the lamps seem to give off much light at all. The light reflects a tiny bit off nearby furniture, but doesn't even reach the floor! This is with the wall, table and floor lamps.

So, of the 'exclusive' store stuff I've been able to find so far (Yeah, I put them in my game. That's what we CC whores do! It's okay though. They're in a separate folder so easy to take out.) I like 2^1/2 things. The male hair mesh is actually okay. Yucky Maxis textures, yeah, but if it ends up being recolourable it could actually be pretty cute. I also don't mind the male vest outfit. It's not something all my Sim-guys are going to wear, but okay for certain types. And finally the Cubic series desk - that's the 1/2, because I really like the right-hand side of the desk, and really hate the left-hand side.

As for the rest of it: FUG! All the female hairs look like ass. (Except for the one that looks like an inferior version of Nouk's squid hair.) The Cubic furniture is hideous, and the Deco set reminds me of that ancient and ugly dresser that my grandparents used to keep in the spare bedroom downstairs. Ultimately, I'd feel cheated if I'd paid for any of that crap!

I don't know about all you guys, but with my luck the damn thing would buckle right in the middle of using it. I prefer a sturdy fallen log, thanks!

Personally, I couldn't care less whether Thomass is completely impotent or a fucking stallion. I think the last thing this world needs is Thomass-spawn, but beyond that... *yawn*

I do feel like I should mention, though, that infertility and impotence are two very different conditions. In order to be 'firing blanks', a man would have to be able to 'get it up'. (To the best of my knowledge anyway. There may very well be situations in which a man can ejaculate without an erection, but I don't know about them.)

I probably would have faked a limp and then felt horrible about it afterwards. I use the disabled washroom at work from time to time (I work at a community centre but don't have access to the staff bathroom, if there even is one) because it's almost always the cleanest. But I don't spend a long time in the washroom when I'm away from home anyway, so I wouldn't feel too bad if someone was waiting when I came out. I'm kind of heartless that way.

Does including a lot of Maxis furnishings really increase the filesize that much? I would have thought that there would just be some sort of 'couch 14 recolor 2 goes here' kind of marker since the objects theoretically already exist in your game. There's shouldn't be any need to duplicate the entire object file... But I also have absolutely no idea how these things work.

I do prefer no CC with lots, but I realize how hard it is to create a really nice-looking Maxis-only room too. All just a matter of taste I guess.
