I've been having problems getting on the site and the downloads. Is everyone else having the same problem? I'm not even sure this message will even go through. It started acting up last night and I wasn't able to get on at all.

It was slow as hell last night and timed out a few times but has picked back up and seems to be working about 80% at the moment,
Dont know about downloads as i have not checked them.

The slowdowns are apparently caused by the destruction of southern Taiwan, which blew up and sank into the sea sometime on Tuesday, disrupting Internet routing to Malaysia. I am currently giving consideration to moving the Phorum to the other server so that it be less likely to simultaneously die at the same time as MATY.

There have been problems, I imagine due to the server location and the earthquake in Taiwain. Hopefully, it'll be fixed soon.

Well, apparently it was largely uninhabited there and only two people died, which makes it somewhat of a nonevent. |
