I thought it was funny because there was so many comments from the guys in the pet peeves thread about hating Gothic Lolita while I was doing this.. I know she doesn't have the short kimono, but I still found it funny. But I figure, meh, you've got to do what makes you happy.

What is your name means ? It sounds Pali or Sanskrit language to me.


I made made similar one to TSR ages ago for their future world theme weeks and it is one of my favourites, but unfortunately it use pay mesh so I make new on for Maxis mesh.

I do not know what the color of the one on the far right is, but I think it seems like dark orange so I named it with that color.

Oh thank you so much T.. I think the thing is, to try and take the the time to get it right.. that Sim has been through four incarnations of both the makeup and the kimono before I got one I was happy with. The trouble with anything with a Gothic theme is it's easy to overdo it and turn it into a charicature.

The name is the Indian Goddess of music and the arts.. she's a beautiful archetypal figure which is why I picked her for my nic.

Oh my, I love those! Those are very 2001 a Space Oddessy.. You've gotten some beautiful detail into those outfits, they're perfect. Those would make perfect outfits for the Apocolypse Challenge.

my first time posting in this thread i think....i'm normally not proud enough of my work to do previews of it before i release it lol

This is my first real mesh, I took one of warlokks bodyshapes and added marvine's shoes to it, modified the mesh a bit, then made some corsets for it, valentines sort of mood
I'm still new to this whole making clothes thing too, so it took me the last 3 weeks or so to make the mesh and the outfits :?

They will be part of this coming WNF Aspiration Set (which will be posted when we reach our donation drive goal, which will hopefully be by wednesday)
And before anyone asks: the hair in the pics is nouk's contribution to the aspiration set...and the bed in the pics is tyler's contribution to the aspiration set lol

I think they look stunning Jess, the textures look really detailed but not too photoskinny and congrats on making your very own mesh!  

Tyler's bed looks good too and I've already said that I want Nouk new hair. So basically I can't wait for the set to go up.

I'm a bit nervous to show these, since i haven't uploaded them anywhere either, but i just thought the maxis textures looked SO cute on a toddler mesh. The textures are all basically maxis - The little images are characters from Sanrio and San-x. I basically just recolored and did minor tweaking.



I apologize for the bodyshop photos, i tried taking some in game and i was ready to murder the child i was trying to use to model them. Ridiculously hard to control. If/when i decide to upload them to MTS2 i'll try again to get well-lit in-game ones... I just have to remember to reinstall all my hacks. (Which of course I never do until i've already loaded the game and neighborhood...)

Additionally, there is a small flaw at the top of the shoulders, that i couldn't see in bodyshop. The two straps don't match up perfectly, but it *appears* to be distortion due to the mesh (like how the swimsuit straps, even when drawn straight, turn out a bit wiggly). Is this a major problem?

Druid, they're really cute. I can't see anything wrong with them. They look something I'd put my daughter in, and I agree with you, they're better suited to toddlers than adults. When you've got them ready for download, I'll be there!  I like the diapers too. It makes me want to play toddlers again -- usually I just max out their aspiration and grow them up.  :lol:
