Well, the new site has been unveiled.

If you remember at first she charged $3.50 per donation set - for about 8-10 items.

Then the price rose to $5 per set but the quanity didn't improve.

Now she's having a subscription-based site. Usually that's better - I know I'd rather pay rose $5/month than $3.50 per hair 4 times a month.

Anyway she's reached exnem levels of greed/delusions of grandeur (take your pick) and is charging a hefty $8.00 a month

Yes, you read that right. Eight fucking dollars a month. Insanity.

And I have some information about this site:

I talked to her on MSN quite a bit in the past few days, and one of the main reasons she's continuing with being a paysite is because she allegedly paid someone to make this site (with the login and all) $350.  She claims as soon as she recovers these funds, that she won't be a paysite anymore.

I tried to point out to her that she wouldn't have had to pay anyone any money if she just went free in the first place, but she's French.  And I don't think she understood me, or my point.

$350 dollars for a tiny website is quite an investment (read: fucking insane) for someone who doesn't expect some mega returns beyond the cost of getting someone to make it.

And if I'm currently looking at the correct site, it looks like she's the one who got robbed.

Rip-off. Pure and simple. I'd rather my sims walk around in the maxis clothing 'a la Goopy' than pay that much for clothes. It shouldn't even be bootified. That is probably what she is counting on :lol: Saves her bandwidth!
