How in the world did I miss that one, Ali? Did you have that taken on your latest holiday?

Sorry, Paden, I obviously didn't do enough research before posting. I saw the thread about that dude Walt buying the site and people on other threads complaining about BBB taking over the site, but had not actually gone over to Insim and checked any announcements. Totally my bad. I went through this entire thread to make sure that I wasn't double posting and was therefore lazy. Not an excuse, I know.

Not that it really matters, but I'm a vegetarian, so no Big Macs for me.  Tongue

ETA: I know that there's a lot more at Insim (Bloom, Squinge's archive, and Warlokk are creators that I use a lot), but Sgooby's statues and trash_'s sims are some of my favorites and I thought the people here would like them a lot.

We've been free of BBB for ages, as well as Walt, Kathy and Eric. We're a bit more friendly and a lot less bitchy and whiny for money to keep the place going, that's for damn sure. Also, we've lost the sugar-coating that caused diabetics so many problems when they would come over to the site. Cheesy

Love art nouveau, love guatla's work. The stack of books functions like a book case and you can place it anywhere. It's probably the single most used item in my game.

I love candles and therefore love that candle. You just fed my bizarre obsession some more marikocha Cheesy I also adore the the stack of books function as a function, as I do enjoy having clutter but not pointless no-function objects.

ZOMG, I love guatla's stuff, too. Ever since I downloaded her Broken Kitchen and Broken Bathroom sets all of my starter Simmies have them in their shacks. Love, love, love them. And the stack of books is, indeed, freaking amazing. With that and karaskaras's set of books, I haven't used a proper bookshelf in ages!

For sims 3, there are some nice plaid textures here http://blog.naver.com/bluetohazel/20069368229

And Kate, she is going to kill my game with all the great textures she has.

ETA: If you don't want any content created with TSR's tool, don't download the textures from the first site.

I just discovered this amazing little site called Fairy Forest aka Feenwald. I don't recall it ever being mentioned here, so I hope I'm not repeating, but this is one of the coolest sites I've come across in a long time.

There are many items that are very innovative, such as the painting that is actually a TV.

The most awesome set of shelves with extra slots and tons of recolors.

Great grungy colors and textures for your appocalyptic sims.

And this is the cutest little 1x1 lot I've ever seen.

*snipped like Edward Scissorhands*

There's also this one by Numenor, if you want a different frame or something.

I lurrve Fairy Forest. They also have a OMSP controller that looks like a simlish bulletin board in-game, which I can't find on the site. It's on MTS, though. It's compatible with Lord Darcy, SilentLucidity, ariffrazalin, JohnBrehaut1, and Fairy Forest OMSPs so that you can turn them all in/visible at the same time.

I have all Feenwald's paintings in game. They're perfect for my museums, rich sims' houses, various Malfoys, etc.

I can't wait to use these textures in game. They are called Grungy Victorian, and they look great.

Textures are going to kill me. Not counting the ones from the store or the pre-order/game guide/preview disk textures, I have 150, getting ready to go up to 168 after the above set and another one on MTS.

I guess I must be operating light this time, or just not finding the sites with all the goodies on them - I don't even have 100 new patterns yet and that is after a visit to Parsims.
