It seems like all of these gross sims could be summed up to one word: photoskinning. Does anyone actually do it well?

As for photoskinning, I imagine if it were used to get the proper skintone for a sim, but not to make up for laziness in using bodyshop itself for bonestructure and eyeshape, it could work.

The boy's toga appears to have been sliced with a knife??  Or perhaps painted on - there's certainly nothing there to suggest the fabric is more than a micron thick.

Oh goodie, pleated diapers... What is with evi and her shit-tastic children's clothing? If I tried to get my son to wear any of that, he'd have the tantrum from hell! It all looks so uncomfortable with fabrics not far above burlap in quality. She needs to invest some of her monies into a better program, a better video card, glasses or talent. Oh wait, you can't buy talent, so maybe she ought to do herself a favour and just quit.

Honestly?  I think deep down she knows she's not that great, so she specializes in things that are not as popular.  There are a lot more outfits for teens and adults then there are for kids and toddlers, so by doing those age groups, she's more likely to get downloads.   She's also made stuff for elders, another area that isn't as popular.

I think the worst thing that happened to her was for TSR to get their hooks into her.  To be fair, her stuff looks to me like the stuff of someone who's fairly new to creating and shows promise, if she continues to work hard and improve.  But, TSR doesn't encourage that.  Since you make money by downloads, it's too easy for folks to stop improving and instead just make stuff ASAP.  I guess they figure if you throw enough sh*t at the wall, some will manage to stick. 

Another reason why paysites are evil.  They discourage people from working on improving themselves, and they give people with boarderline talent an inflated sense of ego.

If I had any talent for clothing meshing/skinning, I'd consider that - doing good children's clothing, but I have a hard enough time making static meshes.  I -can- mesh bodyshop stuff, but its so time consuming that....I leave it to others with more talent and flare.

Evi is not one of those people, obviously.

Actually, it looks to be a tube of paper with a picture of a cat (or perhaps a dog, though it looks more cat-like to me).  I'm guessing its either for sims with allergies who can't buy a real pet or for people who don't have the pets expansion pack.
