....... And sailfin, those look awesome. *awaits to download*

Trust me- they ARE awesome.

And cookiepirate (and everyone else who's posting Sims 3 lots)- I beg you, please stop torturing me like that. Sims 3 is nowhere in my future and my little, piratey heart breaks a little more every time I see a lot from Sims 3.  Grin  No, really, post away, I'll just sit here and drool.  Cheesy

Cookie pirate, that is a gorgeous lot! I haven't really had time to play the Sims 3, so really looking forward to messing about with the build tools a bit more.

I haven't even tried to play the game except enough to catch a goldfish, mostly building the house.  I really love being able to make the woods match, even if the style doesn't.  But....and this is a big BUT, what the hell was EA thinking by not putting in half walls? Huh  I'm sorry, but a fence doesn't look right inside a house as a separator.

Cookie, you should be well aware of EA's tactics by now  Wink. They will add the half walls to the game at a later date with an expansion pack, or shove them at the EA whore store.  Angry Wink

Haha, so true.  That is a gorgeous house though.  Every time I look at objects and lots for TS3, it makes me want to go buy the game.  But then I remember how cartoony Sims are made to look and I slap my own wrist and carry on about my day.
I'm just gonna stare at this lot a little longer and dream.... *sigh*

I don't think they look all that toony - not once you're playing.  I think what's happening is that in play graphics are starting to not capture well in stills.

A few other things I've noticed that annoy me - hair doesn't animate anymore.  And you have to have a floor under stairs to place them [though you can remove them afterwards.].  Also, bookshelves in basements are usable, but sims won't put books on them when they clean house.  Instead they just keep putting the books on the floor over and over again.

Ha!  I'd like to see that!  If I was really bored I'd probably make them loop trying to put the book away just for a laugh.  Then again, I have no life so I'm the only one that would probably find that amusing

I thought I had already registered at your site, but it's not accepting my ID/password. So I was going to re-register, but I can't find where to do that. Can you tell me where that function is on your site? Huh

You're welcome. There might be a glitch or something there- I know I've seen "Welcome to our newest member- SoAndSo" and then seen the same message a few days later. And that was after other people had registered.

ETA: The boss  Grin    fixed it.
