YAY!  I love making walls, it's always been my favorite thing in creating.  I love the way walls can just change the room completely.  And, I love drawing out trim, pixel by pixel.  The problem is that a lot of folks seem to think walls are barely worth bothering with.  So, it's nice to run into someone who appreciates what walls bring to the game.

Before anything goes into a room, the walls and floor have to be perfect. If I can't find what I'm wanting for a particular room, I go hunting. Right now, I'm on the prowl for Victorian wallpapers. Of course, if I find something in blue, it's usually downloaded in a heartbeat. It doesn't matter if I have a ton of blue already, I can always use more. Cheesy

I too am a wall and floor addict. I have more than five hundred walls and many more floors in my game. I also get obsessive about the name, price, and description so I edit each and every one to make it how I like it. I've decided that I am no longer allowed to download walls or floors.  Wink

Same here! I am always making new walls or looking for them. And the perfect wood flooring often eludes me. I've made tons of carpets.
My problem is that I don't like a lot of pattern. I lean towards painted walls with white trim or very subdued wallpapers. I know...I'm weird  Grin

Painted walls are awesome.  Before the old computer fried, I had bunches and bunches of plain paint walls, in almost every color on the Behr paint charts, with different trim.  Sometimes it would take me hours to just get the right walls to go with the furniture.

That's why this urge to do the Damask wallpapers kinda surprised me, some of those walls were not my usual style.

I have just about every Behr paint that ever existed, and a billion Damask type wallpapers... I have a bit of an obsession with Timorous Beasties, and I've made myself a few of their papers. Link if anyone is curious as to what the hell "Timorous Beasties" is.

My favorite walls are recolours of the vanilla stucco.  I think that looked nicer than the painted walls, but still -looked- painted, and worked well inside or outside.  And I'd even made a stucco floor or two, to use as 'roofing' on modern houses.

Hey guys!

Ha ha, I have never thought I'll be uploading TS2 stuff, but I had to. 'Cause I wanted to thank all of you for helping the TS2 community. Well, these are simple Lady on Red recolours, but they're in the spirit of PMBD. Hope you like them.

Here are a couple of beds I just tested out.

The first is the colonial ironwood bed with a taller, upholstered headboard. The wood is linked to the original bed while the upholstered inset is linked to the bedding. I also cleaned up some of the fussiness around the base in order to keep the poly count down. It's still around 4,500, I believe.

The second one is based on the ergo supreme dining chair. Since it does not draw its texture from the chair I included some recolors. The fabric inset is linked to the bedding.

Like I said, I tested them and they seem to be fine. Let me know if you have a problem.
