mando, i saw that avi and thought, "the infamous captain squid has struck again," but didn't say it cause my litter box still hasn't been cleaned and I'm sulking. Are you feeling better? Last I knew you'd been pretty sick... And it's about damn time you got back!

No worries, Paden. Just start kicking stuff out of the box and I'm sure it'll get cleaned up post-haste. Yeah, much better these days. I was sick with the flu that would never end, most of which was brought on by a few months of very high stress, low fun work (I finally said goodbye to that job after I started to develop hives from stress and was in danger of hacking up my left lung, yeesh).

Ha, ha! I won't say that it isn't partly referencing it, so you're right too (although I'm not the world's biggest HP Lovecraft fan) . Besides, Cthulhu is a squidy, octopussish sort of uh, thing, so it still works. Plus, Cthulhu has no gender, so again no assumptions need to be, nay, should be made! Unless, one is seeing it as just a squid, at which point, obviously, one will automatically think female
