Oh, and...PBBT, you fail Gyrobot. You should have had the cooler name of Optimus Prime or perhaops even jazz or bumblebee. You chose the dorkiest transformer of them all, you fails hard, man.
Ry is sad that she knows that much about Transformers.

But, Hec, we must not forget I have a 9 year old.
I don't have to mention he's not that into transformers though...ha!
The funny thing is most knowledge I have of Transformers comes from my best friends 26 year old boyfriend who still play with them.

I am not sad I know so much about Transformers. They were my first "boy" type toy, and the recent movie absolutely rocked - which I will be buying on DVD . I am well prepared to be called a nerd, and a geek - I have been one for a bloody long time.

*snort*
I already have the DVD. *neener* The movie was awesome. I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it. On a lighter note...the first time OP transformed the first thought in my mind *directed at afore mentioned best friends boyfriend* Damn, I bet Matt got a boner just then....lol. 26 and has the toys all over the house...hahaha. It's cute, I guess....but I'm glad my boyfriend doesn't play with toys...well, those kind at any rate. *snort*

Yes it did rock. I read that they are making a sequel, which will be released in 2009. I don't expect it to rock though I hope it does.

The storyline wasn't particularly fantastic (it was good - don't get me wrong). It was the robots I liked - the transformations, the great big scenes (and we watched on a 50ft IMAX screen, so it was fucking huge). So the next movie should be just as good - cause you can't have a Transformer movie without transformation. I kept my Transformer toy, and might still have it somewhere, unless I gave it to the kids to sully. AND I watched Beast Wars all the way through (which started when I was an adult). Oh, and when it comes to superheroes, Spidey FTW!

Woohoo, Transformers sequel! I hope they find room for a naked Josh Duhamel in it. I too was a Transformers girl. I was however more into He-man, Master of the Universe.

I preferred x-men to spiderman. Probably because there were more of them and they did different things. I preferred Xena above all though.

We just watched The Transformers last night. The storyline wasn't all that (especially the stupid mushy parts they liked to put in) but the special effects and action scenes totally rocked. When my 3 year old saw the first transformation his eyes got as big as saucers and he uttered 1 word... "Dang!" I think that says it all regarding the special effects and action scenes.

Poor Shockwave doesn't get any love either. The movie was awesome. I tend to hate sequels though. I really hope they don't ruin it.

Blow it up. If it sucks, blow it up. If it is a paysite, blow it up. If it is Exnem, blow it up. If it's a Dalek, blow it up. I just wanna blow something up today, can you tell?

Think more the curly hair, manic stare, huge coat and scarf about twenty-six feet long, and you've got more the right image. I honestly didn't know how to end the damn thing and it wound up that fuckin long... I've not had the curly hair for years, though, I let the perm grow out and cut it off... But still, I like to blow things up now in then in video games...
