That animal is a tapir.

I prefer mummies. Some of them have tons of cool jewelry.

Well, I prefer tapirs to mummies...  Cheesy

Mummies vs. Wolfmen? Definitely wolfmen.

Mummies are dead and icky and cannot have sex. Nuff said.

My first thought also. Mummies are stinky too, at least a wolfman can bathe

All the dogs in my past - wire-haired fox terrier, collie, border collie, doberman, shitzu, chow - all loved baths.

I'm not sure which I'd choose...wolfmen do have the advantage of looking human much of the time, and the whole bathing thing. But there's an unpredictablity that I don't like. Mummies are dusty old things, but they have great stuff in their tombs and who doesn't love a creature who comes ready-made with a curse?

Yes, Hec, but after 3000 years in the same tomb it kinda gets old. Imagine, nothing to do, just lie in your sarcophagus until you finally crumble to dust. Sure, there are the occasional tomb robbers/archaeologists to strangle, but other than that, nothing else to do. Even the pretty things in the tomb lose their appeal after you've admired them for 3000 years.

Whereas Wolfmen can run, mate, hunt, sleep and, indeed, bathe.
The life as a wolf might be a short one (what is it with those pesky hunters and their silver bullets?), but at least it is full of excitement.

Besides, aren't werewolves cursed as well?

A werewolf (also lycanthrope or wolfman), in folklore, is a person who shapeshifts into a wolf or wolflike creature, either purposely, by using magic, or after being placed under a curse. (From Wikipedia) So another advantage to the wolfman is that at times they are also human  Cool

Hey, I read that series and I like it! Always did like the wolfman, I mean, it wasn't his fault that he got bitten and the curse of the lycanthrope was put upon his shoulders. Plus I thought his hair looked really cool. I think one of the better portrayal of the ww in movies was when they did them in Van Helsing, very nice. Of course, they had an awesome looking actor to build upon... Why do most of the actors I really like have to come from down under? Not fair, they just seem to breed better looking guys... Except for a select few Americans but even so, they don't have the appeal that the older generation of male actors did back in the days of black and white film and early days of colour...

Snape is my favourite.  Lupin thought about wussing out on his kid - and didn't do anything to stop his bully friends.  Not very brave.  Snape, on the hand, brave and modest.

Oh, and he hates werewolves.  Cheesy

Oo, Snape! I loves him! And Alan Rickman is perfect for that role.

I always liked Lupin, but Sirius is still my all time favourite. (Not to mention he's played by Gary Oldman, one of my favourite actors evah!)

Is that what they look like? Frightening!  I never really cared for their version of Enjoy the Silence, but I really like the one Lacuna Coil did in their last album.
