Guess that info was pointless, except to say why do people waste money on things when they don't have to?  LOL I guess that is the point of this entire site too, now isn't it?

I'm sure if you ask on any of the sims 2 sites including this one that you will have at least a handful of people admit that they felt that burning need about the "must-have" new paysite item.  Heck, even in a lot of advertising in general companies try to appeal to that instant gratification.  Off the top of my head the new upcoming stuff pack actually has the must-have phrase in it.

So to try to sum it up, they waste their money on it because it's a fabricated need.  I want to say more but it would turn into an essay..

Since Jan got booted from her old Yahoo group, guess what........looks like she wants to get into my Refined Rejects group. Here's the notification email I got from Yahoo:

Needless to say.....my mouse "accidentally" clicked on the deny button for the applied membership, and also somehow, this "pirate jan" was banned from ever being able to apply again...hmm, now how did that happen? :twisted:

Pirate Jan is Trollster from here. She said earlier in this thread that she would try to join the new group. Evidently she succeeded, but you banned her from the rejects.

Usually, that itch in the middle of your back that keeps coming back is a zit that needs to be popped... That fits Jan, too. Her ego needs to be reduced in size and I don't think Clearasil is gonna do it. And I have something for a few friends... Puppehs are cute, too...

Wowser, I haven't been in here for two weeks and it jumped from 37 pages to 60.  I had a feeling JanTwirp had been up to her usual nuttiness so I came back in to find out.  I found out a lot!  She's got a new site, eh?  And she got whacked out of her own group.  Good for them!

Liked the comment about if there would be a WWIII all that would be left would be roaches and Jan.  Ha, I think you're right.  Some people never learn although on her newest explosive home page on Main Street Sims she says she has learned a valuable lesson.  I think not.

I also had an all morning read on msscribe.  Boy, that was something.  It was kinda tedious but I couldn't pull away.

And, lastly, all the cat pictures inspired me to do one myself.  The cat is my cat's kitten--Butterball, who is now 7 years old.

I have tryed several times to create a set for you but have thrown
all of them in the garbage. This was my 3 day of trying to create a
nice set.

I am afraid that I am either burnt out on creating or it is the
things that went on with the Pirate and the old group I had that Edna
stole.

I don't know what went on there she was head mod and I did not
interfere with her. I had a gut feeling about her when I took her on.
I should have listened to my feeling.  She stole my group and still
is sending nasty email to me calling me bad names.  I thought that
most of my staff were my friend but found at they were never my
friends in the first place.  Every one of them stabbed me in the
back.

I really do not have the heart to go on with any of this any longer.
I found another game that you can create for and I think I am going
to try that game out.  I am going to leave the Sims community.  I am
not just saying this, I have had my fill of all of it.

I am very hurt and have been sense Edna * meamaw* now named my old
site United sims2 stole my group. I am not angry but after the
Pirates stole my subscription objects and then this, I am not going
to work my self to death on something for others when most of you in
this group are trolls and Pirates.

I just want nothing to do with any of one like this.  I stay to my
self and bother no one, but for some reason I am stalked around the
internet, by these old trolls and they are never going to leave me a
lone. I know this now; they will keep reappearing now matter where I
go or what good things I try to do for anyone, I will be condemned
and lied about by them. I don't like fighting and I will not fight
with them. I would rather let them win and I walk out the door. And
that is just what I am going to do.  

I wanted all of my good members to know that I do not hold grudges,
but I do not ever forget the ones that were mean to me.  

Nan was one that I never, ever thought that would turn against me. I
even bought her sims2 packs and had them sent to her home. My God
what kind of a person it this??  I have no idea, but she is not one
that I would like to be a friend to.
She is a person that takes and takes but never gives; I can see why
she can not find a mate.  

I really don't care what these kinds of people think about me, I know
what kind a person that I am. I am a very good person, a very caring
person a very giving person.  I will take up for my self and in what
I believe is right.  

That is all I have to say about all of this. I have MS, I am
handicapped in both knees and this was my favorite thing to do was
create for the game. I hardly ever play the game. I never botherd
anyone.

I have a few sets up here for you, so get what you would like to have
to remember me by as I am closing the door on my last group as
tomorrow evening.

I opened a new site as well and have no control over what is on Main
street sims now that is up to my host . I can not upload to that site
or take down anything . The contract has ran out on it.    

The New site that I just paid for is going to be closed as well as
soon as I can get a hold of my host.  That too will be lost money for
me.

Since this thread was bumped I wanted to let you guys know that I've got a chance to get into the locked forums at Sim Tribal.
I don't know whether or not any of you remember that forum, it's an EZ, but Parnz ran it and I've contacted her and she's said she'll see what's left and let me know in a few days.
There is all kinds of stuff in that place, to do with Jan and other people that have been around since sims 1...so yeah, i thought it'd be a good idea to see if I could her to open it up again.

Oh i remember Sims Tribal very well. I also know there was all kinds of juicy tid bits on Jan/Sybil/Charlotte. Theres all kinds of info about her & her antics locked up in ST.

I hope you are able to get in Ry & hopefully most of the sims tribal forum will be intact I cant wait to see all the old posts from back in the day.

Will we get to see all the other stuff posted besides the Jan/Sybil/Charlotte stuff?

I wish my partner in sim crime was here. We have alot of good memories together. Kimmy where are you?
