For people "lost" searching thru booty............

Try using the Google Toolbar's "search site" feature, if you use Explorer or Firefox. Since it happens alot, people saying "Where's this?", or I can't find this, here ya go. Just go to the booty main page, type whatever the hell you're looking for into the Google toolbar search box, hit the search site specialty button, and VOILA!

I'd never have known.  Usually I'm forced to rely on the alphabetising of sites, and the clear names - but google is a far easier way.

Actually, I didn't know about this because I use google but not the google toolbar. I hate toolbars. I still won't use it but nice to know anyway.

feverish, you don't really have to use the toolbar - as you said, it's good to know anyway, because you do a google search on the booty manually.    The tricky part is though that some file names in the booty are really obscure.

I don't understand why you have to go through all these gyrations. All browsers have a 'search on this page' type thing.

Hecubus and that1chica: it's actually not the same thing   With google you can search the entire directory, not just the page. But meh, whatever, I never do that because the file names are so obscure at times, so I still have to look at the pictures.

You are welcome - you guys do beautiful work - I imagine you all have your houses logically organised.   Not the piles of papershit that my thesis causes.  :lol:

But really, it's a fantastic peice of work - alphabetised, even has pictures for cripes sake - and fast - I see something on a finds list, and almost straight away, I can find it here.  All logical, and unless you know the exact name of the file, google isn't going to help you anymore than just looking under "L" etc.

Not to mention that the site: operator is far better.

I use the multi-tabbed feature.  I have the booty open on one and the treasure chest on the other and just flip back and forth.  Works for me and I bow to the booty goddesses for their hard but awesome job.  

PS - Calalily is my hero, too.  If she would just shave..

Umm..... em.... no, not really!  :oops:
I wish my desk was as well sorted as the booty. But at least I learnt to pile the "needs to be sorted" kind of papers on ONE biiiiig pile only instead of a little pile in every coner of my house  :lol:
