Thomas & Co. will never own up to what they did, nor will they ever genuinely apologize. The reason for that is, they are NOT sorry. Their motives are evil. One long look at Coconut's website will show the evil intentions that they have upon anyone who they think might try to thwart their evil plans. They will do anything possible to make themselves look pure and kind-hearted (remember the dying man situation?), but their intentions are not in line with the "customer's" best interest.

And profit? According to the EULA, there shouldn't BE any profiting. I know that argument's older than dirt, but it's still there. I don't know how anyone with half a brain could be pressed to "help" them, after all the evidence that has been stacked against them. There is no helping TSR; they USE you. And once they're done using someone, they're cast off like an old rag doll. I'm not sure why I'm saying this, because I know that stupid is as stupid does. Obviously, you cannot convince someone to not sell their soul to the devil until after they've done it and can't turn back.

Since Inge seems to have a love-hate relationship with TSR AND PMBD, maybe she's the one who did the hackings.

When the situation benefits her, she cozies up with Johan. At other times, she hates TSR and comes here to talk smack about them. Sorry, Inge, you're looking quite the hypocrite right now. Your credibility has completely gone out the window as far as I'm concerned. Your comments are null and void.

It's only common courtesy to give credit where it's due, but FORCING someone to link back for a free tool is dictatorial. When I had my freesite, I linked to SimPE, CleanInstaller, etc. and gave credit to the creators of those who provided me with those services. However, it wasn't required, and no one would have sent me a nasty email for not giving credit or links if I hadn't.

It's just the same for other free tools that you can find on the internet, GIMP being one example. If I used GIMP, it would be my choice to give credence for the use of that program. The makers of GIMP could not make me link back to them or give credit for a program that is free. Linking or giving credit is based on the honor system. I'm not sure why TSR thinks anyone should give them any honor. Then again, I don't know why anyone would use their CrackWorkshop.  

Like I said, it's a COURTESY. Never should be a demand. TSR should never force anyone to credit them for the use of their tool. It's just another reason for the remainder of individuals to rip their funds from TSR and embrace the community that is FREE!

Hurrah!! Sucks to be them!! Too bad they're in bed with EA, because once Thomas et al wake up, EA will shut down the entire campus until the package snafu is fixed.

And, as an added note, how many patches does this MAKE for Sims 3 now? I don't have TS3 anymore, but the last one I knew was #3 (that was the one that totally borked my game for good) and it was a good long while ago. They've really screwed that game up.

Since this is TSR staff we're talking about, it's "guilty until proven innocent" for me. I don't trust any of those folks, wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt if they had "Innocent" written on their forehead. As far as I'm concerned, Zebras don't change their stripes. Call me hard-headed, call me unforgiving. I don't care.
