I know all the lyric details, I was here when they went down, unlike most people posting about how bad it was. And yeah, not a horrible person. This is a game. This is an internet community. I guess I'm tired of being petty. But sure, go ahead and hate her. I've actually spoken to her though, and I know she's actually a real person who made some really bad mistakes.

Or maybe I'm just tired of hearing about all the same old crap. Wait till she does something new, don't just keep dredging up the same tired shit.

I don't hate her at all. She has done some things I totally disagree with, and she's on the other side of the paysite battle, but come on. She's not a horrible human being. She's made some big (I mean really big, with the sharing of personal information bit) mistakes, but is it really necessary to hunt her down wherever she goes? She was already fired from MTS2, can't we leave it at that?

Geesh.

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure if it was meshes only. I have err.. one redistributable mesh, but it isn't very good. Tongue

Wow, that is a really great idea sherry! I can definitely see that being a useful list. If you'd like, you can stick Digital Perversion on there for clothing, hair and recolours. Everything on my site is pretty much fair game.

I don't know much PHP, but I wonder how hard it would be to make it an editable database so people could post sites and things directly?

It was a beautiful wedding in the garden of a huge victorian house in the town we grew up in. Everything was perfect, other than a bunch of minor things that went wrong behind the scenes, but I suspect that's normal. It was totally exhausting though, I've never taken part as one of the main event coordinator type people in a wedding and it's a LOT of work!

On a side note, the site and forum are back up now.

It was down. My best friend got married earlier tonight, so this is the first time I've been home and online long enough to check my email in about a week. I realized that I forgot to pay up with my hosting company for the month (I don't care for auto pay for various reasons), and have since corrected the problem. They have their money, site should be back up shortly.

Sorry!

Well, you should fit in fine in pescado-land, as Pescado has labeled himself a "fat obstreperous jerk", frequently says such things as "I'm old and I have a long beard!" and bitches about kids today. He also heartily endorses beatings.

Long lost brother, maybe?

Check out  http://www.moreawesomethanyou.net/smf/index.php for more fun with Pescado.

That would make sense, since her last site was for TS1. Bringing back the TS1 experience, hell yes!

Hosted by Lunarpages, eh? Lets all jump on there, browse around, and eat up the bandwidth so she can see what the real Lunarpages customer experience is like.

I agree totally about Aikea. Whatever personal drama people report about her, I don't really care. She still makes some very high quality meshes, especially the ones for our poor neglected men. Nothing I've downloaded of hers looks half assed at all, unlike other new FAs. I think she may have been one of the last real quality recruitments Thomas and co have made, though a lot SAs seem quite talented and they are neglecting that pool.

I still think meshes should be freely distributable, but my change of heart on this matter had more to do with the fact that if the worst of the problem is a distribution TOS, I don't want to piss off the talented free creators. Also, I am soft and squishy, and I admit part of this is because I hate to be the bad guy with people I respect and admire just to prove a point.

Meshes will still have to be easy to get to for me to not include them though. The ones that have thus far been removed have had direct access to threads and pages where the file can be quickly grabbed. If it becomes a hunt, a pain in the ass, or the meshes are pulled, then all bets are off and I'll post the mesh. To me, this seemed like a reasonable compromise, as my real concern with this whole policy was to make meshes easy for downloaders to access, pay or free.

I'm making a thread here because a thread that was also started here some time ago was the cause of some drama and hard feelings. So here it goes.

Once again, I've changed my site policy. I made a big deal before about how I was including all the meshes for the files on my site, regardless of whether they were free or pay. Because of that, some free creators have been upset and angry, and that has never sat well with me. It's really difficult to back down after making that kind of stand, but well... I never had a problem with any free creator. So, I am offering my apologies and eating a little humble pie. I still think free distribution of meshes is a good idea, but I don't think it was right of me to step on anyone to try and make a point.

I am still including pay meshes and meshes from those sites that like to take their toys and go home on a regular basis.

Let the beatings commence.

That would be...so...unspeakably... BAD ASS!!! (the Disneyland EP)

I have a mild obsession with Disneyland, I used to go at least once or twice a year when I was a bit younger and could afford it. Ride Pirates for hours on end, or go to Haunted Mansion over and over. Especially when its between Halloween and Christmas and they do the NMBC mansion!

Ok, Gimme!

Human? Ewww. They smell all... meaty. Just say no to Alliance.

Lately I've actually been playing a Blood Elf lock on another server, and she's okay. I miss being all dead and rotting though. But she's so amazingly stuck up and has the most awful racist jokes. My favourite one goes like this:

Me: type /silly
BE chick voice: "I hate Thunderbluff, you can't get a good burger anywhere"

or this one:

Snotty BE again: "I went to Undercity for a facial, and have you SEEN these people? I was like 'you don't even have a lower jaw and you're going to give ME a facial??' She got mad. Or at least I think she did. Have you ever heard anyone try to speak without a jaw? 'Mggggh grrrrr' She sounded like a Murlock.

For the HORDE!

My undead warlock says /cry

I'd actually like to see an Ikea stuff pack. I go into that store every now and then and it's like being in sim world. I come home wishing I had bothered to learn to mesh, but then I lay down and the feeling goes away. Also, did you know that at Ikea you can fit an entire appartment's worth of furnature in a cardboard box?? It's amazing!

How about a suicide hotline mini EP. You catch Don woohooing the maid? No problem, give the hotline a call. Then it's a minigame to see if you can say the right things within five minutes to stop your sim from killing itself. If you lose, it has fun suprise new deaths!

...wha? I'd buy it. Or at least torrent it.

Or maybe an arsonist's fun pack. I'm still waiting for the serial killer interactions...

Being overweight can be a medical problem quite similar to being underweight, for whatever reason your body doesn't want to maintain what would be it's ideal weight. Either way, "fat" or "stick thin", people are cruel and will make fun of you.

I know they are making fun of the camwhoring and all that, but the whole making fun of "fat girls" being okay just gets to me. I get in people's faces that do it in real life too. I know that it seems shallow and stupid to get so obsessed with weight and looks, but in this society it's a big freaking deal. I won't get into details, but when I was going through therapy for problems of my own, I met a girl who really did try to kill herself because her boyfriend called her a fat, ugly cow and said that sex with her was like fucking a beached whale. It hurts so bad because a lot of women have been hearing that same type of shit their entire lives, and eventually it just becomes part of who you are. It breaks my heart, partly because it's something I see in myself that I can't erraticate, and mostly because a lot of these women and girls are beautiful, even if they don't look like supermodels.

Anyway, yeah. That's my rant. I know that it's part of the internet, and while I would be hurt and probably never want to leave my house again if that was my pic (or at least until I needed milk), some of those girls look really young. That kind of stuff just seemed to cut way deeper at that age. Fat or skinny, those girls should have thought twice about the nakedy pics though... why would you post that on the intarweb?
