Okay I know I said it was too easy to pick on Dot, but really...   It looks like Dot and Evi got together and decided to haunt the TSR subscribers with a real piece of crap.

I'm so glad she identified it as a lamp, because I'd be dipped if I could tell.  And really, does that one thing look anything like a skunk?  I had a pet skunk and they have small, rounded ears, not bunny ears.

And she didn't even try to change the head shapes of the critters. I suppose that is beyond her skills.

Uhm... I had a raccoon as a pet.  His mother was hit by a car, so I raised him for awhile.  (His kits were killed in the same accident) the problem with raccoons is that unless you get them fixed, they will revert to wild when they hit puberty.  Mine did, but my father warned me that this would happen and that it was a good thing, because he was meant to be a wild creature.

But, even after reverting, he would still come up to our back porch and beg for treats.  His favorite were those horrible big Easter egg candies that have like a sugar coating shell and a gumdrop type center.  But even though he would beg for treats, he didn't want to be touched and he wouldn't like it if anyone but me or my dad came out when he scratched at the door.  Anyone else and he'd lumber back into the woods like he was all pissed off that these horrible interlopers, like my mother and brother, had the nerve to be living in the house.  Even though he knew brother and mother fairly well, having been a member of the family.

That being said, they aren't common pets.  I don't know if you need a license to have them now.  And, she could have just as easily called the skunk or the raccoon a kitty.  Especially the skunk.  It looks more like a kitty to me.  Unless the one in the main picture is supposed to be a kitty and then she just put a grey circle around one eye and called that one a skunk.  In which case, she could have done another color for the kitty so we could tell the difference.

Around here, to care for wild animals, you need a rehabilitation license, even if the animal can't actually be rehabilitated.  I need to get my training and license - then maybe I can manage to rescue one of those ranched foxes before the poor thing is brutalized too horribly.

That and it would legally allow me to rescue and raise birds and squirrels.  Not that I've had to often, but legal is better than illegal.

And DOT is a.....waste of molecules.
