For what I have read on the BBS, people are really disgusted over this. I have not seen any support for TSR what so ever. I think Thomass has sunk his ship this time. Well, maybe not totally, but it would be nice if it did.
I just wish there was more ways to reach people within TSR, the ones that never go any further than TSR. I see why TSR is trying to be a one-stop download site, because the moment people left the site and look at the community, they'd realize what scum TSR is. |

Also, I'd appreciate some edification as to the reason for the FAQ link. Just to clarify, I am pretty sure that it is not said in the FAQ that you can not make threads like this. News and discussion on paysites are always welcome. It would be...bizarre if information about new paysites can not be posted here, so do not know what Nightmare was getting at there.  I recall this site being mentioned before but think that was perhaps in the Talk About Booty thread (?), not in a thread of its own. New sites which start out with donation packs are disappointing. Unfortunately, the Email page is under construction so can not contact the site owner at all. Sorry to go back a page, but if you want to contact this person, they are a member at the Black Pearl where they announced this page. I guess it is. I am just trying to wrap my head around how this is going to make people who are canceling their memberships at TSR stay there. After all, it was Steve who used the "announcement" to keep people from leaving. It just doesn't make sense in that context. ETA: Anyone else get the feeling it's just a "Why can't we all just get along?" kinda whine?? |

You might like to at least wait until EA make a public statement about it next week.” Interesting. However, even if EA says "WE wuve TSR and want to have their cyber assbabies" it doesn't make sharing personal information about people right. It doesn't make getting the Reflex forum closed, right, it doesn't make trying to exploit a dying man suddenly an upstanding morally correct thing. If EA does come out in full support of TSR, then they are just proving they're as sleazy as Thomas is. Even if the EULA is changed tomorrow, it wasn't changed when the information was shared. It wasn't changed when he closed the reflex forum, it wasn't changed when he tried to bait Coconut into doing his dirty work. EA can offer them the world on a plate now, but they cannot change the past. They cannot say that the Eula is retroactive. What Thomas has done cannot be forgiven. I have said if EA comes out tomorrow and says paysites are okay, that I won't be here anymore and I stick by that. But that doesn't mean that I will think what Thomas has done was fine. It was a shitty thing to do, it was cowboy justice, because there was no real legal way to stick it to the people he thought were stepping between him and his money. If EA gives him their blessings and permission to continue? Then EA has proven themselves to be lower than low. And yes, I won't be hanging around here, but I won't be silent either. I'll do everything I can to make sure people hear about what happened. TSR should not even be forgiven for their actions, never mind absolved of their sins and rewarded for it. Seriously, how many times has TSR said something along those lines?They're all over the place from "EA is changing the EULA", to how super exciting announcement is making everyone regret they're blowing off TSR. I think it's just a bunch of bullshit to manipulate people into whatever they (TSR) want. But won't everybody notice if EA doesn't put out an announement after they've bragged about it? What good would that do? Dunno, dumb sheep are dumb? So is TSR! |

I seriously thought the screenshot was fake.  But it indeed is like that. And? I can't find any files! Even though the search show the number of files, when I click to go there it says nothing found! Go Windkeeper! That's new. When I went there I could still see her files. It took me a while but I saw them. |

I was trying to browse through Windkeepers' files when I noticed I could no longer reach her stuff. I thought it was a glitch on the site due to their awful V7 code and forgot about it.
I've just gone back to her profile and found this:

Was TSR hacked?
I think if they got hacked we would see that on more FA minisites. But it looks like Windkeeper's is the only one that's been changed. Dunno but it would be funny if it was real especially since it looks like its gotten a few pageviews since you took the screenie. |
