Im ahthan a select artist at TSR! and fuck! theyre hosting my items there after they dumped me! Can you give me guys an advice? Sherrie! I need you! :cry:

One thing I know about TSR is that no matter what, even if you leave, they keep your items up.  One thing you need to do is host them elsewhere and it will violate your 'contract' (i'm using that term ironically) and maybe then they'll pull your downloads.

I sent 2 tickets in, I sent the first one to: Rules and Policies -
Terms of Service on 05/25/2007. I recieved no reply

so I sent another one to Game Features and Information -
Items and Inventory, on 05/30/2007, it was a copy and paste of my last letter, and they replied that they would pass my complaint on, and confirmed that the site (tsr) was in breach of the EULA. I have a screenshot of my full reply on my site. The person that replied and passed on my complaint was GM Spada, and it was wherever he passed it to that got my creations removed.

If you wish, you may quote my reply from GM spada, which was sent to me 06/01/2007 10:37 AM and quote my personal ticket number I got that reply on 070530-005824 and ask him personally to forward your complaint to the same place where he forwarded mine, also be sure to emphasize the fact that these files are hosted against your wishes, on a paysite, and that they were created using EA tools, ie: bodyshop, homecrafter and are pakaged using their .package/.sims2pack format .

I've known who you are all along ahthan - I pmed you when you first arrived.  I just didn't want to out you - you can do that (and quite nicely too)    .

To get your items pulled from TSR, you need to contact EA - they will help on your behalf.

Contact GM spada at EA, quoting ticket number 070530-005824 in there, and ask him/her to do for you what they did for Sherrie.  If Sherrie happens to look in, she might help you write it.  But she's in the Wicked Sims group, so she might be busy for the next couple of days.

Hi Ahthlan, you need to fill in a support ticket, you will find that on the EA sims 2 website.  If you need any help writing it, just mail me. sherrie_sim@yahoo.com.

Of course you can host your own items, they belong to you, TSR is hosting them illegally without your permission. some rights of them belong to EA as they were made using EA tools and package formats. EA have given full permission for hosting of such items on a non commercial site  as long as they remain free.

Ahh, See...  EA helps sometimes with sites illegally making money off content that is property of someone else.  Make sure you carefully read the terms they will have you agree to in exchange for such help (threats they will make towards TSR) - they will stake a legally binding claim to your work in it and if you agree, you are bound.

As soon as the work was made and put on the internet using EA's work, they had a legally binding claim to it, Sport. Frankly, as soon as you agreed to the EULA when you installed the game they had rights to what you made using their parts. Don't like that rule, don't put it online.
