Who was the one in control of Retail Sims?

Heather.  HChangeri or something like that.  Some crazy woman in her thirties or so who should know better but clearly doesn't.  She ran off to Turbosquid to sell meshes of cubes or something in an attempt to stick it to the pirates.

Or something.  She also had a Myspace that had her delusional ranting, but I don't know if it's still up.  Should check the threads on her.

Can I blame TSR? LOL. Seriously, LaPink is IcedMango's site...she left TSR and Thomas was forced to release her stuff after EA stepped in.

Duh I'm too tired...yeah that was Sherrie (but Iced Mango is hosted now at WickedSims and left TSR nevertheless)....anyway, that's why I'm figuring it's kind of suspicious. Plus we all know Thomas can program ...a DoS attack would be a piece of cake for him.  :roll:

I don't know that Thomas can program, I know that Per can. Maybe Thomas can but he strikes me as the guy with the big stick not the one who can actually do anything himself. I may be wrong, that's just the impression I have.

Frankly, I love gossips, but I don't think that TSR is behind this attack. Thomas is evil, yes, but not an idiot (not till this extent, at least, lol).

I imagine Thomass more on the line of trying to build his own niche, maybe trying to obtain a sort of licence by EA, stuff like that. I mean, he's a businessman, and businessmen don't invest money to simply annoy people, with so dubious effect in the long run.

An attack like that seems more a work of some exalted minion, obviously idiot, with a distorted moral and a very little perception of reality (or none at all).

Is it possible that something like this could happen randomly? Yes, I know I'm grasping here but I hate even imagining that someone would deliberately do something so foul.  Over Sims.  I really hope her hosting company can somehow track the person(s) responsible for this.

I saw that page before. I was going through the links of some sites because I was bored, and one link led be to wickedsims' network.
I also truly hope the culprit is caught.
But on the other hand, this is a good chance for us. PMBD [and SFV?] has [have] started the ball rolling. Someone out there is getting scared enough to attack, like a cornered cat. In the short time, this attack is awful. But in the long run, I think this is going to do good...

I suck at explaining. I hope you got the general idea. :X

Also, I do wonder if there is a way to translate back from pirate lingo...?
