You dont understand asians taking english names?  A lot of them do.  My dance partner did. His real name was Shin-chaung, but I, and everyone who knew him called him Ben.  He chose Ben because he though Benjamin Franklin was cool.  lol.  Almost all the foreign born asians I know choose western names when they moved to the US.  Thank God, I couldn't have remembered their names if they hadn't.

And if I were in Asia, I would totally adopt an asian name.  It's so annoying that NO ONE over there can pronounce Kathleen correctly (not that germans can either).  Kas-reen, Kya-sa-reen, guhhh just call me something that I dont know if you're mispronouncing it or not!
