It saddens me when people with perfectly good reputations cheapen themselves for $1.50.

I used to be an avid admirer of her creations too. But no longer.

Emilie is a member at Simpixels and Graphics forum, like I am.  This was what she told us.  I really feel like posting in the Updates section about her new site.

It is true, I'm closing B.Emilie and I'm sort of leaving the sims community. Not only have I found a game that takes all of my sims time (and the some): WoW, but I've been feeling so bored about the sims all fall. The only fun part now is the community drama, lol, but that mostly gets me annoyed in the end anyway (paysite pirates, etc).
I'll still pop in now and then, to see how you're doing
This is probably the only forum I can't leave without sadness, so I won't leave entirely.

    That's exactly the same I wrote on 'Be less stupid' ) I mean I am sure she's gonna do this way. It would be really really stupid to come back to B.Emilie or to go on with zadiesims. There is no way back for her.

The only thing I don't get is why she is trying to make a paysite if she has enough money to register a lot of domains?

As for emilie paying for so many domains, she's using dreamhost which lets you host unlimited domains, so she can create 12 different personalities all with paysites if she wants to and it wouldnt cost her any extra money. Gotta do something with the extra months left on her hosting plan I guess...or if she paid $8 for a month of hosting--her paysite was only up for a week--so she has 3 more weeks to create more paysites lol
She didnt delete the BE domain or zadie so she can always put the sites back up if she wants to get herself more attention. :roll:

The other day I was looking up info on BE and Zadie.  Her BE Whois info listed her email, name, country of origin, and that the domain expired in October of this year.  I just looked again, and she has shielded all of her BE information, and her email address is scheduled to expire on February 7th, this year.  So maybe she's closing down for good?  Or just trying to hide her tracks better.
