I agree!  It took me forever to find glasses that I liked, and was crazy excited when I found shock&shame's!

Lifeofpi, those are amazing. I've always wanted to have glasses like those in my game. I've found things that came awfully close, but never quite quite what I envisioned. The size, the frames, the little details- perfect.

my favorite part is that the glass is clear. Often people make it look like frosted blue. Frosted blue glass is fine for a coffeetable, but my glasses in real life are clear.

Ha! That's so great. I went on a glasses downloading spree a week or so ago, and I realized that the mesh for those glasses (this one here) is incredibly popular. I actually have over 60 pairs of glasses using that one mesh. Which reminds me, I need to do another purge sometime soon - hopefully before my game explodes. I did have a point somewhere... oh, yes. Those glasses (that I have and adore) reminded me that these ones use the same mesh, and they're pretty darn cute, too, if I do say so myself.

I am so busy sending myself emails with these bookmarks from work! 
I also love just plain clear glasses. I remember being so desperate for glasses that I would grab some pay from TSR and they would just butcher the Sim wearing it next time I would reload the game.
You know what I mean, those weird blue glitches where the glasses would be either floating or cutting into the sim. Eech.

I love that eyeglasses mesh, but if I remember correctly, it is one of the ones I had to fix so they wouldn't flash blue.

I have the fixed mesh in a zip file here.  I had originally tossed up the zip file because someone had seen a picture of my self sim and wanted the glasses she was wearing, which came from one of the Daum forum megapacks I got off of GoS.

But, anyway it's a tiny upload, and you can just toss out the recolors and nab the fixed mesh if you'd like.

I remember someone saying a few pages back that karaskaras is emerging as a very good mesher. Her Sparrow Furniture Set looks to be just as well made as her previous sets, which is to say, very well made.
And guess who updated? All About Style! I get excited every time they update, they're one of the only sites that seem to give a crap about my poor, forgotten elders.

I agree! I'm quite the karaskaras fan. I've got the Ibis set too. the sparrow set,  and the cube set. All of which match eachother and look amazing.
