That did the trick, Cala.

There are still some issues that I don't know how to fix, as seen in one of the two pictures below.  It comes from mapping it, then deleting a row of the foot's length later.  Also the sheet portion at the top stretches so it doesn't work well for patterned sheets.

On the other hand, with a solid sheet and an all over texture, it looks decent - opinions?

I like it! It is unusual and I have not seen anything else like it, which is a plus for me.

When you map it, try picking "Scale Result" and make the image 1024x1024, or even 2048x2048 if need be.

Are you mapping inside Milkshape or are you using UV Mapper?

Inside milkshape - I map, then move everything around, so it is mapped right even on the angles.

The real problem is that with the sheet part, even using the fitted sheet part, which is sizeable, it stretches out the stripes and makes them pixelated.  That and I was using one of my own beddings, since I already had the graphic available to work with and didn't have to fetch it.

There is a similar issue with the pillow meshs I did - and it doesn't bother me much, since even most maxis bedding looks good with it, with only a few exceptions.

Maybe export the groups you're having trouble with and map them separately.

I actually use a combination of UV mapper and milkshape.

You might (and I don't know for sure without looking at it) have to do some funky stuff with the texture itself.  Making things smaller in one area and larger in another.  Kind of like when you have to do clothing.

http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=136712

This is a clothing tut, but the principles are the same with objects.

That is totally my fault and not yours.  I lumped everything together in the map, to make it easier.  The only thing I could do at this point, would be to take your textures and remap the tables to them.

Well I don't know shit about mapping, and ease is usually super best option, but I mean it would be kindof cool if like, say, you could put some sort of design in the panels on the drawers, or emphasise the shadows around them, or something in a recolour. I tried to fudge it but it clearly only sortof works on the big table (which I was surprised actually doesn't seem that big in the game, nice job!)
I'm not into making peoples lives difficult though, haha, so it's totally up to you what you'd like to do  Cheesy

Anyway, here is what I have so far...

There are three recolours, mahogany, pine and oak.
It would of been awesome if I could of done different coloured handles and shadowing but I'm crap at trying to figure out where to put the different bits so it's just wood recolours at the mo.

I have done the rest of the sizes too, but my game decided to freeze as I was taking shots, and now I'm too tired to boot it back up again so it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Nice mesh by the way!!
