Octopi is the plural from what I grew up with, but according to some online sources, octopuses and octopodes are correct, too. I don't care what it is, I love that necklace, too. Want! Cheesy

That necklace is full of win! I really like it Smiley I would so wear one if it was available to buy. It reminds me of a little of Cthuhlu (sp?)
I have to refrain myself from downloading today, I am trying to organise the stuff already in my game.

Well luckily you CAN buy it! http://lov.li/products/828809
There's also a the more silvery/pewter looking version I found from a link from cuteoverload.com. I forget the actual name of the site, though.

I spend a lot of time organizing my files. Moreso than playing the game. i spend a lot of time organizing irl, too. I'm anal like that. Also, my husband loves anything lovecraftian. He references cthulu all the time, so when other people do, I get the warm fuzzies inside.

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments about the necklace. I'll email  Aikea and Gelydh and ask if I can post it somewheres. (is box any good?)

Unfortunately GoS is being very difficult and refuses to let me post at the moment. Bloody annoying as I have a contest to run as well. Argh! Anyway, I haven't forgotten and he'll be up eventually. I promise to update you guys. (:

Seriously, I more follow Sekhmet [ hence my true distain for Atwat ], Freya, and Shiva...though I try and honour all forms of deity, no matter what, since it just seems respectful. And I'm celtic tradition, figure that one out.

Ok, So I'm doing some recolors of the lovely lovely Carnaby Sims Bob.  I really rather enjoy that hair. (and the clothes... really, the whole site at large.)  I figure, if you like a hair, having different natural color options for it just makes it even better.  So far I've worked this up:

I feel like I need a different type of shade of brown and a different type of shade of red as well.  (Possibly a different type of shade of blonde, but all my blondes look the same when I'm done even when I go for "different shade.")

So... lighter brown?  strawberry blonde?  A good idea/necessary or totally superfluous and a waste of time?  Any ideas of another shade of blonde as well?

Courtney, I love the colours you've done and probably not use any other versions of colours. I like the whole maxis-match thing you see and prefer just 1 colour version in each bin. But that's just my opinion Cheesy Others might love different variations.

Hey Courtney colors wise I love multiple shades of brown. I'd also look at either brightening up the red or adding some highlights. As for the blond, I'd maybe go for some honey tones, or platinum - both of which I personally love.  When it comes to non-maxis match hair I like to have lots of different color options for each style so that it can be as realistic as possible.

Also, very cute moddle!

I can understand that.  I can usually do two versions of a style after that I kind of just "gloss over" that choice.  lol.  Ok.  So what I'd do then is do the 4 "base colors" packed together and then maybe have the other options available to download if you want them.  (all binned of course.)

I can probably go platinum with blonde.  The original is kind of a honey blonde.  Those always end up looking... pinky... when I do them.  So I'll do two different ones.  The one there, and then a variation choice for each.  Packed separately so you don't have to have them all if you only wanted the one.

Also, very cute moddle!

Thanks.  Not mine, though.  That's Kaitlyn, by ComicalMuse, grown up.  She's Here at insim if you want her.
