Only because if one pokes a sheep it will certainly bleet. I've got nothing personal against any of the FA's or the paysite owners. I simply detest the utter stupidity they spread freely around the internet.

I was thinking to if this is a open forum after all we got nothing to hide, and EA must monitor its sim fan sites. Maybe EA's legal and copyright department reads this forum for tips for the legal lawsuit they are building against you Thomas, and the rest of your staff. The pictures of you and Atawa was a little to much, you didn't seem to like having your picture taken either. I thank you for adding Atawa to your FA list, if you continue adding artist of similiar merit, you will certainly have reclining subscription rates. I dare you to bring more Atawas into the fold of FA status and prove us wrong. Yes Atawa can really design :shock: you have no sense of taste, you proved it by promoting her. :shock:

Oh I would say so. Doesn't he have enough talent over there already? I'm sure there are artists in the lower ranks (anything below SA or FA) on there that would enjoy being promoted. I know I see some decent stuff from non-SAs and non-FAs on there and they're still nobodies.

Well, TSR already has their stuff. They don't need to promote the little people unless they get restless and threaten to leave.
But I'd expect everyone decent to eventually become FAs, because trying to drive up subscriptions that way has already worked so well!

But d'you have to be so tacky about it? There is a certain finesse involved in making people angry. Like, not outright stating whatever horrible thing they might have done as fact. For one thing, it'll make you look stupid if it isn't true, and for another, it doesn't allow anyone to imagine things even worse, like insinuation does.

As for telling someone to go kill themselves, that makes it look like you have way too much emotional investment in this whole thing and makes you ripe for a "Internets is serious business!" response, followed by being ignored. Sure, telling somone to go kill themselves'll piss people off, but it also tells them that you actually care about the matter and keeps the person you told to die even more stubborn about whatever annoying thing they are doing and more sure that they are in the right.

Remember that the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference, and a patronizing tone and an attitude of indifference is what really seeds a target's mind with doubt.

Being a jerk is easy, but being a real bastard takes class.

Is that why I piss so many people off? I'm so indifferent about everything, especially if it's near and dear to someone I don't care for. I've learned giving no response or a level-headed one tends to tip the anger meter more. But not taking a side pisses everyone off that is on one side or the other. Usually I just don't give a rip.

But, all in all, it's still fun to read stuff here.
