Thank you Pescado and Paden. I needed to put the chocolate ice cream down anyways. Now, instead of eating most of the pint and ingesting roughly 600 calories..I've only eaten 3 spoonfuls, saving me 550 calories at the least.   


BTW, totally off topic here- Paden is a pottymouth? When did this happen? Can't a girl go away for awhile without someone somewhere misbehavin? Disclaimer: The preceding was totally tounge-in-cheek...I know Paden's gonna be misbehavin sometime somewhere and I actually look forward to it.

He hung that on me after my last rampage. Dunno why, cause it was relatively tame compared to what I've done in the past. I'm thinking he didn't like the forks in his damn lawn or the hot pink toilet paper strung around the outside of his bunker. You'd think that he would have appreciated the last one, that stuff is hard to find! Nowadays you can usually only get the white paper!

I tried telling my kids about colored toilet paper once. They didn't believe me. So, instead of trying to convince them that there used to be colored- even flower-patterned paper, I just added that "disbelief" to the list. What list you might ask? Why, the same one that Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, vinyl records, black and white TV, getting up to change the channel, phones with cords, Atari, etc., etc., are on.

Then you're doing better then me. My daughters at 16 and 20 still thinks there is a Santa Claus.  Just that Santa Claus name is Kenya--the servant they refer to as "Mommy!"

You need to disabuse them of that misconception, PrincessKoriandr. Next Christmas, give them one sock apiece and then tell them they have to to share. Make sure also that you take photos and post. -

Hahaha - My 12 year old niece thinks that MTV and VH1 playing gasp oh my God - music videos is a myth- she is also rather disbelieving of the idea that Goth is not exactly a "new" subculture.

Actually, If I didn't remember watching Videos on MTV and VH1 I'd think it was a myth too.  Ah...how I long for the days of REO Speedwagon and Chicago on constant rotation.

I was just watching videos on VH1 this morning. AND, if I'm not mistaken, I think MTV still shows them.

ETA: I used to work from 12A to 9A and could've sworn that I used to watch videos on MTV at times during the night. But, I could be wrong. I've been trying to find out....of course you can't find anything out on MTV itself and all I've found online is "MTV doesn't show videos anymore" references.
