Kinda silly, really, since Atwat most certainly is not the only nurse in Sweden, but I would not put that past her.

My dad still has a set of those old tin soldiers from when he was a youngun.

You know, in this country, many schools have banned conkers? That used to be the highlight of autumn, that game did.

Oh yes - my Dad loved it when (I think) it was Kinder Surprise brought out their tin soldiers - I collected them for him.  Unfortunately, the nature of litigation and the liturgy of fear stops a lot of these old games.  Schools ban conkers and other games because of liability, and parents support it because despite the child death rates being so low in the Western world, we still fear the deaths of our children so badly, we're willing to rob them of things in the name of safety.

i remember kinder eggs, a few years ago when i was about 15 me and my best mate jess spent the whole smmer collecting them, we spent a fair amount on them, we both would get 5 before school, 5 after, then 10 later in the day, ive still got them somewhere. she still displays hers now, im 20, shes nearly 19 lmao!!

and god iloved conkers!! it got banned from my school tho when "someone" started a conker fight in the classroom and smashed some kids glasses, wasnt my fault he chose to sit in the chair before i threw my conker lol. all the boys were taken out to the quad and told to empty their pockets of conkers and a letter was sent home the following day hehe.

I displayed mine too - I sure wasn't going to try and use them. I had a cute little penguin with tiny fish crayons inside him.  He was adorable.

oh god, i remember them tiny little crayon things, the crayons were so tiny, they were adorable lol. and i remember the little cybermouse one, had different pc compnents in funny little cartton things, one was even a working light.

and the jigsaw ones lol. oh oh, and the little ones where you bult like a palace or something with the thing tat spins round on the top lol.

i remember when disney brought out theirown version of kinder eggs, when 101 dalmations was rerealeased on tape(yes, it was THAT long ago!!).

EDIT: watched that video, you could have said it has a puppet in it lol, i spotted it and had to turn it back off lol. puppets scare me

i have pretty much all the disney films on tape, but i dont have a tape player to watch them on lol, so ive started getting them on dvd again, got a list of em that im crossing off lol.
i may be 20, but you cant beat disney films lol. especialy beauty and the beast lol.

My kids weren't so much into the Kinder eggs. But they were bigtime into Yowies, made by Cadbury http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadbury_Yowie . We had thousands of the things. Even my dad used to collect them (he said they were for the kids, but they had to leave the toys at his place ) and he had them by the hundreds too. We used to search for missing creatures from our collections all over the place!

The only game that was banned at our schools was Red Rover. Not because of any injuries, but a lot of mums would call the school and complain that their kid/s' uniforms were getting torn, lol.
