Hi everyone,
Most of you have been wondering what happened to MaxoidDramaLlama. Drama is no longer with our team. It seems a handful of Simmers harassed her so much and were so mean to her in her guestbook that she has now left.
While trying not to turn this message into a rant, I want to make sure our community is clear that myself and the other Maxoids will NOT tolerate harrassment on this Web site. I'm now searching for a new community manager and will be permanently banning anyone who harasses Simmers on this site.

Thanks for your help and cooperation in keeping our site clean and a friendly place to hang out.

I don't get why people harass creators and mods on forums.  I can't imagine doing that.  
I guess I still go by "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".  I have only sent emails to creators to tell them how much I like what they share.  I never have sent an email to a mod.

Honestly, I don't know what kind of medication you need to be regularly ingesting to moderate that site, but the dosage must be considerable.

I think some stick it out just to be stubborn, others say 'screw this!' and somehow look like wussies.  The mandate to be nice must be soul-crushing.

Wow, I knew that she wasn't handling the harassment well, given her 12 year old responses in her journal like the, "I don't HAVE to have my guestbook on," that had me absolutely tickled because I wouldn't think a grown woman would act like that.  However, for her to *quit* because of them?  That's crazy!  Shame on the kiddies that were so horrible.

Actually, I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it, but there were some top rated stories which were deemed "adult" and therefore deleted. Lots of fans got mad, and I'm not sure whether they went for the SMs or the Maxoids, but that could be a part of it. Or, maybe EA is just covering up the fact that maybe there was an inside argument causing MaxoidDramaLlama to quit.

I would imagine that mostly, for someone to moderate that mess requires an extreme tolerance for pain, and the ability not to get butthurt like that.

I had a vague memory of someone telling me about Drama Llama after I posted a journal entry of what she said here.  I did a quick search and found it.  The most interesting sentence of what lilyroseisapirate said is:  "Sim master drama llama is an idiot and her posts and bannings calling out members is enough to confirm it."  Calling them out?  Clearly a disaster waiting to happen!  I don't feel as bad that she got harassed now.  Maybe I should wander over to the BBS and find said calling out for further amusement.  But then, it is the BBS.. *shudder*
