Peggy and XMsims mesh..too close for comfort?

If the color selections are divided by bin category on the download page, then they're binned.  If they're not, then they're not.  So you can see exactly where it started.

If you ask me, I would say that the xmsims mesh looks much more like one of rose's donation meshes.





They even share that clippy thing in the back.

A lot of hairs I've seen have a bit of hair clipped up in the back.  One of Peggy's early ones does it.

Finding similarities only interests me when it is being compared to a hair from Renderosity or something.

Did you know a lot of hairs in buns look the same?  And ponytails?  And long hairs?  Of course you're going to find similarities.

ETA: And the XM hair and Rose hair don't look similar to me.  Looks like you're just grasping at straws.

The XMSims mesh has the parting on the left and the Rose mesh has the parting on the right so I think the rest of its just coincidence.

You know, the thing is, I see vague similarities, but like someone else just said, there's going to be similarities between hairstyles.  Such is life.  I just happen to think that I don't like either one of those hairstyles.  If I saw a person walking down the street with their hair done like that, I'd say they looked ridiculous.

I've always been grateful to XM Sims for posting free hair that looked a bit like Peggys.  It seemed Peggy would put out a pay one and then XM would put out something similiar for free.  Kind of a nice balance.  Never paid much attention to the donations at XM Sims because the good stuff was free anyway.
