THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Rose obviously made a mistake, this fact doesn't justify her at all, she is enough adult to face consequences of her own mistakes, I suppose.
But even worst is, to me, that those "friends" of her who KNOW for sure (i.e. no mistake, or misunderstood policies) she was making a mistake, doesn't stop her nor inform her about it.

Well, evidently she has the friends she deserves. And those friends deserve her as well.
Whoa.

ETA: All this stuff makes me think of a one line by an italian writer I love, Ivan Della Mea. He politically belongs to "left" party (I hope this is the correct meaning), but keeps asking himself: "The "right" party: what if it is right, to the end? Well, I would be proud being wrong."
(original: La destra: e se avesse ragione lei? Avrei caro il mio torto).
Same thing: even if paysites owners would be right, I would be proud being in the wrong side.
