The "rest of the gaming community" is made up of mostly computer savy, Internet savy young people. The Sims phenom attracted mainstream sheeple. There goes the neighborhood.
Like totally, word. Note how the geeky Sims stuff like hacks, what need a bit of computer savvy, are all free. That's because regular gamers have some decency.
When I started playing Sims, the first thing that shocked me was precicely a discovery of paysites...although no, that be second, first was "Why in hell this game is so tragically dull and so addictive at the same time?" Anyway. "Baldur's Gate 2" has a couple of huuuuuge mods, and these are bloody
worlds, new weapons, storylines, characters and whatnot. All, naturally, free. And there you have losers charging for a coupla rags and a wig.
