I like canvas, the other 2 are nice, but seems like there's a lot of stucco type textures out there already.

I'm on the same wavelength as most, myself.  I personally like the canvas texture, but the notepad does resemble the more realistic texture of roller painted walls.

Perhaps I can alter Notepad a bit to appear a bit more like rolled paint and a bit less like stucco then. The canvas is nice - I might think about doing some canvas walls, perhaps in some colors like natural fibres... (I'll be making walls until I die...yikes!)

I'd go with canvas, but scale it down (or make the texture tighter, I guess). I don't like for anything, especially wall textures, to look too bumpy. I actually keep putting off making a basic set of stuccos for myself as I can't stand most custom stuccos (too bumpy or varied) and the EAxis ones might as well just be paint. My favorite building combo is a combination of stucco and stone. I'm ridiculously picky as to how they have to be textured, so as a result I only use four different stone wallpapers and five or six different stuccos.

And siding....either it's too much shading so that they just look like there's black lines painted on, or the panels are too tiny or too wide.

I like natural fiber walls. I have three or four wallpapers like those, and they get used a lot in my beach houses or my asian-themed homes.

Okay...next step:

I worked with the canvas and notepad textures - canvas was as low as I could get it, but I could make the notepad even more subtle... it looks rather flat here but is more textured as you get closer to it.

I  think the idea of using the canvas texture for a natural fibres set is gonna be the way to to.

I've also turned them into bona fide wall packages for testing; get 'em here. Let me know what you think!

Just from that shot, I think that notepad you've got down there will work great for a painted wall.

I agree, the Notepad looks great for a natural paint texture. And I think Canvas would look fantastic as office walls or something.
They'd both look about the same in my game though. Cry  Wink

Ok.  So canvas will make a lovely texture for a fabric-y wall paper.  Notepad is spot-on for paint.  And I freaking love the color.  It is as similar to the green paint in my children's room as can be, without physically using the exact same paint.
