Someone over at GOS wanted combat boots under my ruffle skirt mesh, so I made some. Meaning: got maxis combat boots and stuck em under my mesh Today I played with it and instead of photoskinning I used maxis textures, wool textures, patterns, handpainting, and some leg textures from Louis for shading.

If the construction looks too flimsy, console yourself with the knowledge that clipping is minimal.

In my opinion you nailed the chair. Looks great. The tabletop maybe a little thin but I prefer that to something that's too massive.

I guess I now need to sue myself.

I like the ruffleskirt with the boots.  it looks like good.  

I also like the table and chairs.  I can see it places.  Looking good.  I'm with snarky and not a fan of the overly large bulky table tops and such.

Hey, people... this is Pheobe Lightwell, one of my favorite sims. I'm not putting her up for upload unless people want her, so tell me if you do. I'm genuinely curious if others like her, as she's been rejected from MTS2 twice now (though that's another conversation altogether.)

Why are the rejecting her, if I may ask?  She doesn't look like a template face and while I'm not big on fantasy sims personally, you've got another option even.  She's pretty cute.  I do wonder how they pick what sims to allow, because I occasionally see a few that aren't all that interesting or aesthetically pleasing (thought that's obviously my opinion), but then I hear quite a bit of rejection stories.  It's one reason why I never uploaded a legacy sim that someone requested, because I had no hand in making him (by gen 5, you can definitely say their face is bred, not sculpted).

Then again, I just had a couple of lots held up in the queue because I hotlinked the Grand Trianon floor mirror--which is hotlinked in the signature of the posts of the thread for the set...I figured if the creator thought it easiest to link straight to the mirror, I probably should, too.  It's not like I'm not ridiculously anal about cataloguing the CC that's included/necessary for my lots--I linked the set about fifteen other times, I bet.

So now I've only got #3 of an upload set up, and I look kinda silly.  But it is a nifty lot, and I'm pretty proud of it:
