Crocs are the ugliest shoes in the world and they make me really sick (I'm a trypophobe which means patterns/holes/lots of circles together make me sick). Plus they're PLASTIC!

Crocs are comfy, but if they literally make you sick then they are not for you. I did not believe it until I got a pair for myself though. I thought the hubby was crazy as a loony for getting a pair. You can get Jibbitz to put in the holes, but that would make kind of a pattern, so that might make it worse!

I hear they're really comfortable, and I've been tempted to try them since I work in a clothes shop and stand alot... but I'd just feel bad, knowing I was wearing them. So, I decided not to try them on, ever. xD

I just can't be persuaded to spend a lot of money on shoes... I find most shoes I see downtown fugly, boring, too expensive, too uncomfortable or any combination of the already mentioned, so... I generally only buy shoes if it's an emergency.

My last pair of everyday shoes had its sole glued several times and was repaired with duct tape before I decided that it was time for a new pair  :lol:

I'll probably end up buying the SP despite the blatant advertisement and even if most of the outfits with crazy psychedelic patterns scare me.

And roman gladiator sandals = ugh, Chanel or no.  And don't get me started on crocs.  They're worse than the rubber cherry red clogs my mother wears when she gardens.  Although both are rather similar.

i think the thing thats pissing me off about this is that its fooling the little 12 year olds that dont know they are being advertised at. Its a cruel cruel trick.

as much as i hate the fact i am paying for an in game advertisment of H&M, the clothes are super cute  :x

I think about half of the clothes are nice, and I agree about the meshes -- If it's one thing that EA is good at, I love their meshes. I can't recolour to save my life, but if I could I'd be all over those things. Sensible shoes, no heels with the damn UNDERWEAR, and the like. They just need to work on their.. well.. skills to actually make them look wearable.

The ability to choose our own shoes would definitely suit everyone perfectly. No one whining about heels or lack of them, the right or wrong colour shoes for one outfit, or even a bad shoe design that ruins an otherwise perfectly nice outfit.
Maybe for TS3, they'll implement that? It's too late now to add it to TS2.
