I am currently a member of Carla Niven.  I signed up 2 days ago and the clothes look great in the game.  They look exactly like in the photos.

but hey, it's a step in the right direction.  I have to admit this is *better*, still not worth $2.  Don't let the image fool you, there are only 2 swimsuits there.

Let's see...rip off a Maxis swimsuit alpha, erase around the edges to obtain a thong and a barely there bra, fill the texture with tacky leopard print, use a silicone boob mesh, bumpmap furiously, sharpen, sharpen again, and there you go! Top Carla Niven Quality products!  :lol:

See, piece of cake.  :lol:  I agree this looks better than her usual stuff but it is still just a matter of bumpmapping, sharpening and texture filling...not that much actual craftsmanship put into it...which I wouldn't hold it against her if she didn't charge for her crapola...

As for the sharpening, a lot of people actually just sharpen their previews. To make people go like ZOMG so detailed and prettyful!!111oneoneone although if you overdo it (as in many cases) it just looks...fake. Plain and simple. If you know anything about Photoshop you know to expect a far less sharp and detailed item in game. Sadly, there are lots of those who don't see it (and then creators blame it on "low end graphics cards")
