Lucky for us, Cardrew has updated: I'm not quite sure exactly what this is supposed to be. I'm guessing it's some sort of lacy transparent thing, but it looks more like a balloon to me. And the "ruffles" texture looks like crunched up paper. And I think the poof-sleeves are actually cutting into the rest of the shirt. And that's all I can say about this right now, because I need to go bleach my eyes after seeing that "Happy Holidays" picture again.

he, she or it cannot be serious about that Fashion Designer-statement. The stuff does not really look bad, I like those ruffles. But stretchy bottom edges to loose blouses? No. Simply no! It makes the whole #)")%& look bloated! It has to be loose fit, boy!
Cardrew, please go to whatever school taught you to design fashion and demand back your school money. You clearly have not what it takes to design fashion!

The shirt looks to be altered from the sixties style a bit, which had long sleeves that bloused out over a tight fitting cuff at the wrist. It was a normal blouse which tucked into tight trousers and the shoes were normally ballet style flats or could be boots with the pant legs tucked in. It was a dramatic look that my mom loved on the rare occasions we could get her to wear pants instead of skirts. And yes, the blouse looked awesome with skirts, too! There is your sixties/seventies style fashion lesson for the last part of 2007.

Except for this one is not tugged into the pants but has an elastic waist band. This is not exactly sixties, if I am not mistaken.
And even if this might be accurate, that does not excuse for the texture being cut of at the line between blouse and waist band.

She/he/it must be lopsided because most of the stuff she/he/it puts out there is askew. :?

I dunno. Shorts and a t-shirt is about standard dress here in Perth durings Christmas! Santa wore thongs last night! Seriously, it's going to be 38 degrees celcius today! I'm going to melt, I think. I can't wait to give people the presents I bought them! AAAH! I love Christmas! Oh my God, maybe I should visit you for a while now during... December, January, February and half of Mars? We've got it quite cold here, but a bit warmer than usual... Bad bad climate changes! @Cardrew's fashion update: Well, that looks very... transparent to my eyes. I don't think it looks really "puffy" in the way clothes can be... it more looks like a blown up balloon which has trapped a sim inside it... And the end of the shirt just looks weird. But actually it doesn't really look like the "sharpen x2000000000" tecnique.

If Cardrew was a real designer, I don't even think hookers would wear his creations. The last few items I've seen on there are horrible, even by Carla Niven standards.

What bothers me is the sporty belt with the dressy blouse. Makes you wonder what/how Cardrew dresses in RL. Now, I'm hiding with Alice.

The outfit would actually look nice if it was executed correctly.
But, as it's Cardrew, it wasn't. The ruffle thing is very obvoiusly photoskinned. (hey, at least it's not floodfill) The puffy sleeves just make her look fat and bloated. And that stretchy stuff at the bottom of the shirt makes her look even fatter - stretchy implies smaller, not balloon-y!
I'm off to go find some rum and cookies. And some eye bleach, while I'm at it . . .
ETA: Ahh, can't spell. Too many college essays >.<

Hec..I can't believe you dared!! haha
Erm... no.. that outfit just looks tacky. And the ruffles want to be free from that model, see how they are frozen mid wither?
Retro is back... but not Retro coupled with what looks to me like lycra.
Yuck.
It's not worth the HTML its printed on.

That balloon top isn't even his creation. He's asking for money for a recolor of Sunair's! [/img]

That balloon top isn't even his creation. He's asking for money for a recolor of Sunair's! That explains it then - it's a crappy conglomerate of two crappy paysite artists. Carla Niven, is there no depths that you will not sink to?
