Does Raonsims have broken items?

Disclaimer in case you want to have a bitchfit: I looked for reviews on Better Sims Bureau and there weren't any. This is probably because the site isn't as popular . I don't know


I just want to know if they have broken items or slow down my game like hell
like Peggy's hairs do. If nobody knows then I'll just find out myself and share. But I'd like to know just in case.

PS: I don't care if the meshes are from Renderosity because I don't care for I'm not paying for them, obviously.

Many of the hair meshes are pretty high poly -  higher than Peggy's. The chandeliers are also high poly but the rest might be ok, I haven't checked all of the counts yet.

The fact that the meshes are from Renderosity or something similar means having too many on a lot is probably going to slow down your game like Peggy and Rose hair does. Other than that, I've had nothing go crappy on me thus far. The chandeliers are very nice looking in game, but you might be able to find something of comparable quality with a much lower poly count elsewhere.  The furniture's not really my taste, so someone else might be able to help with that.

Kid, do you happen to remember what the poly count for the chandeliers and that "feathers and bulbs" lamp was?

They look great, but I'm afraid to use them, since they probably are so high poly.

I the first chandelier they made and that was close to or slightly over 20,000, I think. I don't remember the counts on the others but they're not in my game either so I assume they were higher than I find acceptable. The pay ceiling lamp was around 10,000 +/- a few polygons. The little square light is in my game so it must be around or less then 800 polygons.

Slayer, I have several of Raonsim's hairs in my game and they are beautiful.  They are better than peggy hairs in my opinion.  They don't slow my game down any more than all the other CC I have.  LOL

I have not gotten any bad files or any corrupted files from Raonsim's booty list either.  Hope this was helpful.

None of their hairstyles or objects slowed my game down. The sims2 is the only thing running on that PC, though. Anyway, the only problems I encountered were with the princess bedroom set (the pink one). I had it in a business lot and I couldn't sell stuff and sims kept treating the objects as if they were art pieces (viewing them). I took them out of the game and it solved the problem. I have their bathroom set still in the game, but I didn't have it in a shop. Hope that helps.

Raonjena's hairs are lovely in my game, too, and I've got a right mucked up game...

Well, yes, that's what I mean.  The hair quality is far above Peggy's.  The textures and colors are better too.  They look great ingame.  I haven't tried to recolor them yet but as far as quality...I have to say they rock.  Worth ever click I made to get them from the booty.   :lol:
