Their Paypal account seems to be valid enough. Anyone should be able to subscribe as far as I could see (5 USD/month. Automatic renewal). If this site is a joke, they sure pushed it a bit too far IMO.

WORST SECURITY DESIGN EVER. Firefox and a certain JavaScript-blocking plugin installed, you can not only view member downloads, you can download 'em, too. AuthPro handles the login process, and if the script for it's blocked, well...
But if I did subscribe, I'd be miiiiighty pissed.

Jeez, I was wondering what I was missing what with the "I can't see the payfiles" talk. This is so pathetic, I'm wondering if I should alert them to this flaw out of pity.

That site has to be a joke.  No way is that a real site...

I agree with Blue.  I have visited tons of Sims 2 sites and haven't seen any that resemble this one.  Carla's site makes this site look lame, and that is saying a lot.
