Oh, I love Volks dolls! Super Dollfies are absolutely beautiful when fully clothed and dressed with lovely wigs and eyes and things... However $700+ is a bit too much for me to spend on a doll, no matter how pretty.

I don't think they are creepy, and really when they are clothed they don't look like strange fetish objects. They aren't meant to be play-toys anyway, rather dolls for serious collectors and things. Far too expensive for children anyway.

Wow. Both those dolls are UGLY. I've got a friend who obesses over those weird anime-ish dolls...she's spent so much money on them, it's scary.

lol... those poor guys. I kind of feel like a pedo for thinking "Hey, Fred and George are getting kind of hot". I have a friend who is a twin that is violently opposed to twincest in any form, not that I blame her. I don't mind yaoi or shounen-ai, even shoujo-ai and yuri are okay by me, but shotacon and lolicon really make me gag. Especially when they try to blur it by saying "oh, he/she is 18, but just happens to look like he/she is 10!"

The Doujinshi and fanfic world is full of perversions of every concievable kind though. I don't know what it is about fanboys and fangirls, but the level of obsession and creepy slash out there is just disturbing.

Sometimes the fanbase of anime and games really disturbs me.  :cry:

There's an anime called 'Ouran High School Host' (not as bad as it sounds) it makes fun of those types of boys because they play out popular roles of those types to please girls, even the twincest thing... it's a comedy anime.

I saw someone's website that had their three dolls all dressed up and hundreds of pictures taken...two of the dolls were boys and were lovers.  It was quite creepy, but to each their own I suppose.  However, I still have random nightmares about those dolls cutting peoples heads off in my family with giant butcher knives.

My hubby and I used to watch some of the animae that was out 10 years ago and it was fairly reasonable. One of my faves was "Cutie Honey Flash", but then all that weird hentai Overfiend stuff came out and was way too much for my tastes.  Our oldest really likes Inuyasha, and all that jazz.

I liked it up until Kingdom Hearts 2. Stupid me was thinking here's this interesting tragic story about these folks with no hearts and all these complex villians, there's so much here that fandom will write for years and years exploring these personalities! I never imagined the whole fandom would get hooked on a gay pedo pairing not even in the damn game and obsess over it then harass anyone who didn't approve (LOL I actually have a stalker who writes ENTIRE THREE PAGE RANTS about me because I don't like "fantasy" pedophilia... and I don't even know her!).

KILL FANDOM NOW.

Anime-wise, I like Yu Yu Hakusho and stuff from around the 1980's-1990's era. I won't touch anything new.
