She deleted mine, and I thought that mine was rather constructive.  I have to wonder why she is linking to Carla Niven though (O.O)  Suspicious.

I could enter her guestbook after 10 minutes since I've got banned from there.
I've got an idea, how about I'll write her an ass-licking nice comment and leave a link to my homepage, and on my homepage I will write everything I think about her shitty site?  Cheesy

Interesting. I feel that way too.

Seems like everytime one of Cardrew's latest incarnations pops up and gets shot down, another one spawns. Hmmm.

She's celebrating 1000 visitors, without realising many visitors came from here with no intention whatsoever to ever pay for her items. She also took the guestbook out, but I'm not really surprised about that.

Cute clothes, not something I'd waste my money on, blah blah. Where do these people come from, that they think they can just appear from out of nowhere and charge for pixels?

1000 visitors? Whatever. There is no proof. She could've also said 1 Billion and I'd still not believe it. I hardly believe she had 100. Wonder how many stupid people paid already for that stuff. She's so annoying.

I can quite believe there were 1000 visitors.  Most from here.

My site was knocked on here for about 5 minutes (before deletion).  And my hit counter doubled.

Nothing like publicity in any shape or form.

I just sent her a constructive email asking her why the heck she's charging for clothing that looks like she stole from Carla Niven who stole from Boutique Emilie. Why do people think that they can charge for this when it's not even worth it? *shakes head* Insanity.

sheesh, I miss all the fun! I guess this is how it always goes:

6AM: someone finds new paysite with guestbook.
6:01: posts info on PMBD
6:05: first guestbook deletions
6:06-9:55: mass spamming of guestbook
10:00: guestbook is taken down
10:15: I sign online to check PMBD

I always miss the guestbooks >.> guess I should sign on before my morning class instead of after, neh?

I know what this "1000 visitors" mean. It means 1000 page loads.
The counter on my site shows everyday about 2000-3000 page loads, but only 200-300 unique visitors at average.

Seriously, what effect to this pay site do you intend to change by leaving rude comments in a guestbook? She can delete them faster than it took you to write them. Is the master plan to keep her so busy she can't muster the effort to make a mediocre over-priced skin?

Pay sites have and will continue to flourish quite nicely because of market demands. The reality is that "the market" consists of you and me, and every other person. It's made up of many thousands of individuals pursuing their own agendas and interests by engaging in voluntary transactions. The market has no controlling mind, nor does it have sentience of its own.

The essential feature that MUST be emphasized here is that these transactions between individuals are VOLUNTARY.

The ONLY way site owners can obtain remuneration from work is when their work benefits someone else willing and able to pay for that benefit.

The belaboured ad nauseum argument as to whether the EULA allows them to benefit is as IRRELEVANT today as it was back in 2001 when 8DS http://forums.thesimsresource.com/showthread.php?t=88183 was opening.

These sites operate laissez-faire in the eyes of EA and without injunction. Meaning that private initiatives (Sims sites both pay and free) and production (Custom content) is left best to roam free, without opposing economic or legal interventionism by EA beyond that which is perceived to be necessary to maintain true property rights.

Be they free or pay, end user custom content is good business for EA.

Okay.  Go back for a second and look at the sequence of events that happened when they found the Sugary Sims site, and compare it to what happened here.

What were the results?  How are the situations similar?

It's not rocket science.  They complained in the guestbook and the one site claims to be going free now.  It then follows that it might work in other situations, correct?

Deductive reasoning! Cheesy
