If I remember correctly, it states on the website (bottom of download page) that this will happen, and if you want the Maxis mailbox & trashcan back, remove the downloaded ones.

These are no autonomous objects, but change the colors and shape of the original items in the game (on all lots). The functions of the originals will not be affected and they don´t have to be deleted. The originals will not be overwritten and will appear again, when the files are taken out of the downloads folder.

Well i guess I didn't see that as I only downloaded from the booty, didn't go to check it on the website like I normally do :oops:

The Wood for Sims fisherman pool ladder over-writes the Maxis one.

It's been fixed now.

The sink in the Reflexsims-Feathers-Set overwrites maxis victorian sink (most expensive). In the booty I only found the fixed shower. Does somebody have the fixed sink? Please!

Just curious, since I haven't been arsed to check in my game since I got it in the booty, does the Simgedheons entrace set burglar alarm override the Maxis one too?
I deleted the mailbox, trashcans and phone booth. That was good to know, thanks.

I'm with calalily on this one.  I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to make that stair work right in my game (because the idea of it is dope).  It never has, never will, and crashes the game when compressed (the only file of the 16,000 in my downloads to do so) but even that not with any regularity.  It's not even good at being bad.  Heh.

I haven't had it in my game, and don't know if there's a problem.   I didn't download it or even go look, or know what it is.

But, no matter how many times you tell people payfiles are crap, that we are not support for the booty, they don't listen, and they tell us anyway.  

So I decided to just give the simplest answer that won't do any damage, because really, the files are just provided, and anyone who asks will be told "Delete it. It's crap" - at least by me.

It is a shame about that one because it's a neat idea; a stair with open space underneath that can actually be used.  But it's garbage and full of problems.

Moune has a really cool staircase with shelves.  You should check it out.   Be sure and get the invisible shelves so you can place items.  Just a suggestion.
